Feeding Dry food

I just ordered Young Again Zero dry cat food for Hillary. She has eaten dry food her entire life, I was wondering if anyone has had success getting their cat off of insulin while free feeding Young Again? Hillary is my only cat.

My Dulce ate little canned. So I fed Evo dry and hew went OTJ.
I tried Young Again Zero in the past but it was not a hit with my cats.

Goof went OTJ eating Evo, yes he gets only canned now, but he does manage to steal a pretty fair amount of the Evo dry that other kitties eat.

I tried YAZC and all my cats loved it. I took them off it though, because something at that same time made Squallie's BG start to rise so, of course, I blamed the dry food, lol. Don't know if that was really it or not.

I first tried Evo and it seemed to make his blood sugar rise (although it was early in his course of Rx and his sugars were all over the place. I am now using Young Again mature zero carb and he likes it. Be prepared for the awful smell of YA - I keep it in the freezer and it seems to cut down the smell I started slow because some kitties (including Murphy) initially had some GI issues - also, it does make his poop very smelly but all in all, I am happy with it

The regular YAZC doesn't smell bad, I wonder why the mature one does.

I have used both and have never noticed a bad odor from either one of them. Carol C, you might want to contact the company and ask about that.
