Can someone tell me where I find the info on how to set up a spreadsheet? My cat needs help. I've been reading all the info here and I'm beat and confused. I need to set up a spreadsheet so I can ask for help for my Scott.
Thank you!

Understanding the spreadsheet/grid:

The colored headings at the top are the ranges of glucose values. They are color-coded to clue you in as to meaning.

Each day is 1 row. Each column stores different data for the day.

From left to right, you enter
the Date in the first column
the AMPS (morning, pre-shot, test) in the 2nd column
the Units given (turquoise column)

Then, there are 11 columns labeled +1 through +11
If you test at +5 (5 hours after the shot), you enter the test number in the +5 column
If you test at +7 (7 hours after the shot), you enter the test number in the +7 column
and so on.

Halfway across the page is the column for PMPS (evening, pre-shot, test)
To the right is another turquoise column for Units given at the evening shot.

There is second set of columns labeled +1 through +11
If you snag a before bed test at +3, you enter the test number in the +3 column.

We separate day and night numbers like that because many cats go lower at night.

The nadir is the lowest glucose between shots. There is a general period when it will happen which is specific to the insulin being used and testing then helps make sure your cat doesn't go too low.

It is merely a grid for storing the info; no math required.

Thank you. I am trying to set it up on a tablet. Google won't even let me sign in, says my email and password don't match. For heaven sake, all I want to do is find out if I should increase the darned dose.

I understand your frustration. The same thing happened to me when I first tried to set one up. I had to get help.
Hang in there and we will see if someone can help you.

@Marje and Gracie
Are you able to help Julie with the SS please? She is having trouble.

Julie

If you can PM me, I'll set it up for you and then you can look at it on your tablet. But you have to know the email address attached to your google account and be able to sign into your google account.

To PM me, just click on "Marje and Gracie" to the left under the picture and click on "start conversation". I can get it going for you in no time.

Thank you Bron and Sheba. He's high flat 200's but had a 199 point drop to 90 7 cycles ago, I have no idea where it came from and I need to know if its okay to increase the dose again to try to get him out of these high 200's! The bounce from the drop should have cleared so maybe I'll just go ahead and increase.

When I was trying to sign in to start the spreadsheet, Google would not accept my email address/password. I will set up a new email.
I went ahead and increased his Lantus dose, he's now in the low to high 200's. Will wait 6 cycles and increase another .25. I'm home this week and testing his BG.
