Interesting - another poor eating cycle from Vyktor last night and again the numbers went up. I understand that is what will happen if they're not on insulin since they need the food to cause the release of insulin. I don't understand why that has been happening while he is on insulin
but I am a bit happy that he seems to respond that way so I don't have to be as worried about shooting if he's not eating

I knew I shouldn't have commented on his lack of pinks yesterday
I guess at least he did make it clear that the increase was necessary this morning
He did disgrace himself a little yesterday by peeing on mum's scales again (but thankfully not the carpet). She did have to accept some responsibility for that one since the shower door was closed. I do think that once he's got to the chosen location it's just too late for him to find he can't go there and head off somewhere else. Once mum had her sense of humour back I pointed out he was probably only trying to help out by weighing his pee after he noted her measuring his fluid intake the other day
This morning mum had removed the indoor tray from the laundry (they're supposed to go out and use the facilities in the cat run during the day) and gone for a btb. She heard him screech from the laundry when he got there and found the tray gone so she raced out of bed, got his lead on and got him outside whereupon he immediately produced a big wee. It's not the first time he's let her know he wants out for the toilet and she is liking the development of this dog like characteristic - keep up the good work Purrdster
