The infectious part is concerning, since you have multiple kitties. Has your vet discussed it with you yet?

The Cornell article that Carla linked says "FIP is not a highly contagious disease" - not sure why the word infectious is in the title. I did speak with the vet for a few minutes. He basically said that it is pretty uncommon and he is not up-to-date on treatments. Many treatments have been tried but nothing works consistently. He recommended that I do some research and he would talk to a colleague that might be more up-to-date on treatments.

The more I read, the less likely I think he has FIP. It is most common in kittens (and geriatrics). If he has it, it is the dry form (no fluids in has abdomen). He has been slowly losing weight for more than 2 years. I don't think he would have lasted that long with FIP. We did have a cat (Emmy) that died 5-6 years ago from something that was never diagnosed. We took her to the vet because she was not eating. Vet found she had a fever, she got fluids and we were watching her. A few weeks later, we came home and she was un-responsive. We rushed her to the vets and her temp was 10 degrees below where it should have been. We were discussing putting her to sleep when she passed on her own. Maybe she had FIP and Jekyll developed antibodies since he was exposed then.

I have posted all his blood work on a separate tab in Hyde's SS. I am more concerned about the SPEC FPL test - it came back as a 7.0. What are the values for the cats on the board that have pancreatitis?

Jekyll's symptoms are weight loss, vomiting and diarrhea. The vet is convinced that he does not have a "spark" but to me, he is as he always was, a snuggly, low key cat (hence the name Jekyll and she got Hyde - she was a rambunctious and into everything kitten). I think he is mis-diagnosing Jekyll.
 
I'm glad it doesn't seem like he has FIP. I don't know anything about Pancreatitis. Maybe put Pancreatitis? in your subject line.

Has Jekyl ha an abdominal ultrasound? My civil Theo had a high Spec fPl and was vomiting with the very occasional loose stool. Ultrasound showed a thickened small intestine and inflamed pancreas, meaning IBD and some chronic pancreatitis. Ongoing vomiting is not normal.
