Does anyone know the carb content of Meow Mix Pate Toppers? I'm feeding them to some stray cats and they look really good. A rich blend forming the pate part and topped with shreds of chicken and turkey. My cats are getting tired of Fancy Feast... o_O

Here's the nutritional info:

Crude Protein 11.00% min.
Crude Fat 2.50% min.
Crude Fiber 1.50% max.
Moisture 78.00% max.
Ash 3.50% max.
Taurine 0.05% min.
 
Sounds delish (in the cat food world)! I don't know the answer to your question but I would be interested in knowing it, as well!
 
Check the values with this online calculator to get the calories from protein, fat, and carbohydrate.
Divide the carbohydrate calories by the total calories, multiply by 100. That gives you and estimate of the percent of calories from carbohydrates.
 
If you add equal amounts of 16% and 4%, then divide by 2, you have 10%. In other words, with a bit of tweaking, you could use it occasionally, so long as it averages out.
 
Meow Mix Tender Favorites (not pate) Chicken/Liver is only 9% carbs. I mixed in a little of that with their regular Fancy Feast Chicken and they licked it right up and were crying for more! They were really getting bored with just Fancy Feast, now I have a good tool to get them eating it again. Their Chicken and Beef is only 8% carbs and their Turkey and Giblets is 4%.

Happy to report the Meow Mix had no effect on Dusty's BG after eating it mixed with FF the last three days. They love their food now!
