Has anyone had their sugar baby go three weeks insulin free...the BG goes up...start treatment again...takes 5-6 days of insulin and goes back into remission....only to come out again 3 weeks to a month later. Then 5 days or so again and back into remission? I'm really struggling right now.

What were the BGs, insulin and dose when you stopped insulin?
What were the BG for 5-6 days?
Maybe longer time a low dose will help maintain remission.
What are you feeding?

She didn't do it by the book...haha...she was on .5u and then gives me no shot numbers...stays in the green for awhile. It's crazy. She's eating Friskies Pates. Maybe the longer periods on lower does might help. Thank you! Once I get her in normal range again I try to figure that out. Some days she gives me 60's and 70's..in that case I'd be afraid to shoot.

When she came out...they ranged from 150's-280's...took about 5 days then the numbers decreased until she was in the green again...super weird.

Some ideas to consider:
Kloever could have an intermittant problem such as low grade pancreatitis, which isn't one on the regular blood tests. Maybe get a fasting fPLI to test for it?
Or IBD can be intermittent, especially since some, but not all foods can be a trigger. Ditto food allergies. Track what you feed on the spreadsheet and look for immediate OR delayed issues with the glucose. If you feed the same thing a couple meals in a row, then rotate to another food a few days in a row, you may be able to identify a possible food trigger. Look for ingredients in common vs different.
Also, avoid anything with carrageenan, which may cause inflammation, then raise glucose as a result.
