He ate like a pig. It was hard to dole it out slowly for him because he was stalking me and almost tackling me! He did eat all of what him normally eats, I just did it over a 2 hour period. Yes, they gave him anesthesia for the dental and extractions. First time he was ever under, so I was really nervous. The 204 point drop in 3 hours at +6 concerned me because he often continues to drop through +8. That's why I gave him 1/4 can of his regular food. That did the trick. Maybe I shouldn't have waited and just re- tested him in another 30 minutes to see what would happen but I think judgment is impaired at 1 AM.
So far so good, Lucy. He was wanting to go out all night long but, of course I wouldn't let him. He is still grounded today. I started him on clavamox antibiotic this morning so, hoping there will not be any vomiting from that. First time I had to try and get a liquid in him. Made me think of you and your fiasco with your civvie cat. Got it in him. Hope he doesn't upchuck.
