Hello. How long have you been stalling? Can you go test say 20-30 minutes after your first test and test again to see if he is going up?

Sorry I missed you, Brenda - let us know what you decided to do tonight; BJ's suggestion is a very prudent move, given that big drop.

Sorry I missed you too! Looks like you went 0.8? Did he really drop to 61 at +2 from a 225 AMPS?? That's a huge drop. Let us know how he is doing this morning!

Yep. He sure did. He has a behavior that is a 'failsafe'..that alerts me EVERY TIME he is low like that. He jumps up to test spot. Looks at me, and loudly MEOWS. ONCE. Then sits patiently waiting for food & test.
I'm not kidding. He KNOWS when his pancreas is sputtering and therefore, let's Mom know too.
In addition, his energy level is up at these times, he is noticeably bright and alert. No urgency about FOOD etc, he exudes contentment. :cat:
He wants off this juice.

I think you're right. You got a 209 mg/dL drop on 1 unit today and you're at 180 mg/dL.
Maybe 0.5 units?
I went with 0.8. What do you think about that?
I am dosing at 10AM CENTRAL and had planned to stay a few cycles at 0.8.
He's 110 at +8.

Hi, Brenda - wow, Bubba's some kitty! So did you dose the 0.8 this morning, or what? (As am not seeing his pre-shot # yet in SS, etc.)

I went with 0.8. What do you think about that? ...
Well, insulin doesn't always have a linear response, so you may be OK.
I checked 0.8 times the drop of 209 and got a potential (not guaranteed) drop of 167.2 for 0.8 units.
