Tests and Fasting for Pancreatitis

I just read this and thought it helpful since so many experience pancreatitis symptoms at one time or another. In a nutshell a 6 hour fast is required for diabetics.

True but with diabetics it's hard as you know. With the best of planning when I go to the vet my guy picks that day to dive more often than not.

Forgot to add IDEXX is the only other lab that runs the pancreatitis test. They run the Spec fPL and I was given the same info by one of their vets. Don't ask me how I got through. I tried again later without the same luck.
