U-40 syringes

I'm in need of U-40 syringes that are marked in 0.5 units. Does anyone know where I can order a box? My vet wants to increase Pedro's insulin by 1/2 unit but the syringes I have are in whole units. Thanks!

With a conversion chart, you can use U-100 syringes with the U-40 insulin.
Or, you can use calipers to measure.
Maybe try ADW - they carry some diabetes supplies for pets, too.

U100 short needles at Walmart are around $12 box. Conversion 2.5 (40 x 2.5 = 100) but use the conversion chart and give a copy to your vet.

If you do go for the U100 + conversion chart, it may be easier to fine tune the dose because you'll have more graduation marks between whole units with which to measure.
