Sheba had a 3 cycle bounce after the cycle in green numbers on 7/25.
Last night was another cycle in green numbers. Both those green cycles were very strong cycles, especially last night and I had to feed both HC and honey together to keep the numbers up. Even then she dropped further on one occasion. When she dropped to 2.7 (49) I was tempted to let her keep dropping to get a reduction but it was very late and I was really tired and I was worried I might fall asleep while I was waiting.
This morning I was very tempted to drop her dose back to 6 units as I think 6.25 is too high a dose for her, but didn't in the end.......so tired..finding it hard to make decisions.

I'm really sad too. Next time in that situation remember that if it's really hard to keep them up it's a good time to try a reduction. That is my philosophy. The worst that happens is you go right back up and best case scenario is the reduction holds.

You must be exhausted Bron after last night, hope you are able to catch up on your sleep sometime today. I think we are all feeling sad today ...... Time to give our kitties a special hug.
 
I just looked at Sheba's SS for last night. No wonder you are tired.

Chiming in agreement with the others to take that reduction.

Managed an hour sleep this morning which was good.......feel a bit better after that.
Yes really sad day..... I feel so sad for Rhiannon.

Thanks for looking at SS..... I will take the reduction tonight.
It was great to see the run of green ......but it was not a relaxing run, if you know what I mean, as she was wanting to drop and if I let her drop too far she will just bounce and undo any work I have done on that cycle to keep her from dropping too fast. She seems to bounce if she drops too low no matter how fast or slow the drop. In May when she was getting all those really good numbers she had eliminated a lot of the bouncing even with low numbers......I suppose she just has to get used to low numbers again

Elise.....sorry my above reply was so abrupt. Not meant to be.......my brother was on the phone talking to me.....the kids were racing around ...and I was trying to catch up with my condo.
I did go back to bed for a sleep after lunch before I had to collect the kids, but I just couldn't fall asleep. So I ended up getting up and doing things.
Two more kids have arrived after playing sport so I had best go and get a meal for them all. They are starving at this time of the day.

Congrats on the reducie. Hopefully Sheba will take it easy on you tonight and let you get to bed a little early. Hear me, Sheba? The bean needs some sleep! Be a good girl and stay safe, okay?
