There is a condition in older cats called cognitive dysfunction syndrome. It may result in erratic behavior, without particularly low glucose.

Reminds me of the extremely scientific term "Old Dog Syndrome", which is a real thing that my old dog had.
 
I think I am more overwhelmed about getting my spread sheet on the signature line than I am about dealing with the cat! LOL Let's hope it works this time.
 
How do you administer the Methyl B12? I have not been leaving food out overnight. But I do feed her before I go to bed. Should I leave some out for her?
 
It might help for her to have food overnight. Lots of us think feeding mini meals can even the cycle out and support the pancreas, even during the night hours. You do want her to stop eating 2 hours before her morning test.

Lots of people use Zobaline. You mix a couple teaspoons into the food. Any not used by the body is peed out

I started giving her Friskies yesterday, and I gave her food last night. Her BG was 285 this morning, so both seem to work.

I already bought the Methyl B12- haven't opened it yet. Should I return it and get Zobaline? Sounds like it might be easier to use.
 
I find the 3 mg tablets very easy to use. It takes a few seconds to dissolve in water and stir it into wet food. Good job on the spreadsheet.
 
hi everyone, my name is Traci & im the mommy of Lucca, my 15 yr old newly diagnosed diabetic baby boy.. we have been desperately struggling to get this under control. i really need help but im having trouble working this site. i do not have a comp, im using my cell phone only and wondering if thats the problem.. please any help, advice, how to's will be grately apreciated.
 
Traci, you posted on another thread regarding the Revolution and the insulin. I don't know if your phone is the problem? Did you get another test?
