Can you get another test just to make sure?

I hate to see you increase with no nadir numbers. If the second test is still iphigh, then I guess I'd increase to 1.25 and be sure to test.

Unless you have more than a trace of ketones in urine or blood, or some other critical medical symptom is happening, cats can tolerate high glucose levels for substantial periods.

Ketones, repeated vomiting or diarrhea, severe lethargy, etc., warrant a vet trip.

Nothing like that. Ketones have been negative, always.
I am concerned, or perhaps just wondering, why he is perpetually hungry? He was a grazer for all his life, and of course, the months prior to diagnosis he was a Hoover. Could it maybe be habit?
Per Sue's wise advice, I parcel out his daily allotment 2-3 cans (3oz ea) in mini's throughout the 24hrs. The Others are fed the exact same stuff exact same time, just less. I am feeding Fancy Feast Fish&Shrimp Feast Flaked per the list. (I am extremely fortunate, as they ALL transitioned immediately, w/o problems.)
Maybe he needs something different..?? I haven't had the time to delve into the possibilities yet.
Do you have an opinion

If he isn't overweight, you could add some cooked chicken on top of his regular meal (baked chicken, no spices, no skin). Do you add some warm water to make a gravy so he feels full?

Can you get a test before pmps? Looks like he dropped nicely this am.

Hi Sue.
How are we looking to you? And have you seen my diet questions to BJ?
He doesn't beg if I don't feed him. But he does "search" and when he finds nothing, he is resigned and goes to lie down on his comfort spot. His scratcher thing.
He always was a little oinker though. I'm thinking, he's conditioned now..?

Oh yes! I can get the test! Does it matter exactly when? I could do it whenever is best.
Well I don't heat it up, but room temp water. If I do too much, he won't eat it. He grazes over to his brother's ( same stuff, same amount LOL)
OH he is not overweight. Quite the opposite. He lost more than half his weight in a short time. (I honestly thought it was because he was wormed)

If he isn't acting starved, I wouldn't worry. If he gives up, that's good. I would watch feeding seafood more than once or twice a week because of the Mercury. You can also feed on a plate, spreading the good out so it takes longer for him to finish

Any test tonight would be great. Not sure of your time zone - +7/8 or 9
would be great

I tested at +8 and charted in wrong spot! I just went through my meter and double checked all my numbers and dates.
I will test.
I thought you were to stick with the same flavor, because different food, different readings??
I don't think I can change that up right at the moment. Plus, they all will eat it. I did try some recommended Friskies on two of the Others though. I will try to switch it up later. Right now I have 2 cases

We suggest introducing one flavor at a time. Once you know they won't have tummy upsets, you can introduce another

If you put a number in the wrong place, just go to that cell and delete the number. Then put it in the right cell

I have everything correct now. Sorry for the delay. Need a new tablet!
Thanks much for all the info. I'll get it someday.
Hoping to visit forums tonight. My best intentions anyway.
BTW I saw an old post where you described the pucks! That is on my list!! How ingenious of you.
"..Necessity is the mother of invention.."

That should be good. And I was thinking. It seems like you are up in the am before the test needs to be done for amps. Any shot in that +8-10 range would be good.

The more data the better.
