Lucky has been in the 100-200 range for the past 5 days. I've recently switched meters ( AT2 to ReliOn Prime) so I'm still trying to figure out what is and isn't normal. I've only given him insulin once in the past few days because I don't want to drop him too low. Should he still be getting insulin while he is in the range he is and if so how much?

Sarah, I can't give dosing advice, but I just wanted you to know that you aren't alone. I'm sure someone will be along soon that can advise.

See my signature link Glucometer Notes for feline-specific reference ranges using various meter types.

If you're unsure, you can use Freestyle Lite strips in your AT2. The numbers are very close to the same. The two meters and strips are made by the same company, Abbot Labs. The strips cost about half what the AT strips cost. My vet is now suggesting the FS lite strips for use with the AT2.
