YESTERDAY:http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/posts/1448195/

Guess he surfed green last night Mauri venison was a hit last night as well.

Mom update: the urinalysis came back negative which is a mixed blessing as she was really angry and not wanting to go anywhere for the past couple of weeks. I wonder if the infections don't always show up. The rash on her face is better but she still needs to see the dermatologist next week. I feel so bad for her as she has issues from her head to her toes, literally.

Vines and prayers for all in need with extras for Tricia's Harvey and Minka, Marje's DM and Gracie, Tiger, Shadow, all kitties on trials and about to start them and anyone in need. Stay safe this holiday weekend if in the U.S.

Great start today Max! :D:D:D

Sounds like the Mauri is going over well! Hopefully it'll continue being a hit!

Sorry about the struggles with your mom, but I sure understand the frustration. I have to get mine to an ENT next week. I think he's going to end up telling her the same thing her GP has been (that her nose is running due to allergies) and other than what she's already doing, there's really nothing else they can do for her. Sending vines for your mom and hopes that the dermatologist has something to offer her to make her feel better!

Elise, does she have the rash anywhere else on her body? The reason I ask is that my BIL had a REALLY bad UTI, that landed him in the hospital. And he had a rash on his legs and torso. His urine tests were negative as well.

The redness was just on her face but spreading from a small area to around her eyes and forehead as well as cheeks. It was getting scary.

Chris, my mom has the runny nose too. They gave her nose drops to use twice a day which help when she uses them. Ask about that.

The rash was only on her face and I think her skin is now so sensitive and that causes it. She is using cortisone cream that is helping. Her weekday CG told me when I was there Wednesday, that she just has her wash her face with warm water and that plus the cream is helping. Strange that it didn't itch or hurt and for that I am grateful. I'm going to once again suggest Cetaphil and bring some over to try. My facialist told me to wash my face with it and if it is gentle enough for babies it should be okay for her.

I had to change the Relion battery today. It sure didn't last long.

Thanks for the visits Laura, Marilyn, Carla, Rhonda, and Chris.

I feel just awful for Steve and Janelle. Marshy was so young. No fair.

Adding more prayers. When my dgm gets a uti, she's gets really odd. ( not that I could tell that anymore ) but it seemed to affect everything with her.

Hope the Mauri remains a hit. I think my mistake was buying a case of it.....

Max sure is looking good- so glad he loves the Mauri! I will have to go and get some and test it out now! Prayers and vines for your mom too. Sorry she has to wait so long to see the dermatologist- I've had to wait a month before, it's so irritating...

It has been a very sad day today- sadly, every few months our kitties have aged a few years. Marilyn said it right, we all need to hug our kitties tightly tonight and be thankful.

I almost didn't test again tonight. I was getting used to the higher greens and thinking Max would get used to it too. Wrong again. I look at the spreadsheets of so many that stop at +3-4 and think they do okay.
