Sorry for missing so much lately, but whatever is going on with my right hand is still happening so to type I pretty much have to 1 finger it with my left. Hopefully I can get into the doc soon and see what's going on

China's being a VERY good girl though!! She's been in normal numbers for a day and a half...and if it weren't for a few blips above 120 here and there, she's been surfing beautifully!

Going to try to visit some condo's tonight, but may not say much. It's really frustrating not being able to get my right hand to type and even more frustrating trying to poke an ear and hold a meter! Have ruined a lot of test strips lately

Got severe storms moving in too, so may be a bumpy night! Hope everyone here has had a nice weekend and your kitties are doing great!

Chris...re your hand...have you been to see a physiotherapist?...........I think you call them physical therapists or something like that. It sounds like something coming from your neck. If it is, a physio is better than a dr to treat it.

I hope you can find out what is going on with your hand soon and get some treatment for it. I'm glad China's been a good girl for you.

China, you're doing well patrolling the lagoon today. Rusty is on shore, but he's always there if you need him to admonish any reckless surfers.

Chris, I hope that you will be able to get some professional help for your hand. At the least you will then know what course you should take to get back to fully functional. Sending you many vines.
Don't type or do other stuff that is painful unless you absolutely must. Have you tried a heating pad? Soaking it in very warm water?

Have a good evening. Be careful in that stormy weather.

Ella & Rusty

Sending vines and sympathy for your hand Chris, I hope you can get it sorted soon :(

China you're looking so normal :):):) except for those splotches of green paint from your Friday night adventures ;) naughty Meg!

@Bron and Sheba ....Before I can do anything in the way of physical therapy, I have to have a diagnosis for them to go on, so first step is my general doctor. My insurance is also famous for not paying for PT. When I had knee surgery last year, it was 5+ months before they approved the therapy that most people get right after surgery

I would have to pay for it myself, but I might try going to a chiropractor (because my insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care at all). They aren't "doctors", but they can do miraculous things with manipulation

Out here, the physiotherapist can order X-rays etc and make the diagnosis themselves and go ahead with treatment. My DIL is a physio. Personally I would not go to a chiropractor if it was me. I think physiotherapists are much better .......I am not talking from a biased point of view either...I have always thought this. I think it would be false economy to go to a chiro and not the physio but that is just my opinion. You have to do what you think is best for you. Good luck I hope you can get it sorted soon.:bighug::bighug:
