Hi Everyone,
After AMPS we all took a nap. Rain again, lots of it (flood watch in effect). Rusty had a good night. His numbers so far today are reminiscent of yesterday's. He has good appetite.

Today will be a much needed rest day for us all. I'm watching the Mets while w orking on the board and trying to get caught up. Edward is listening to Wagner ( we have about 21 recordings of The Ring!!!!). Rusty is napping in his little bed. Not only is it raining, it is also very cool ( low 50s). Good weather for naps!

Everyone have a good day,

Ella & Rusty

P.s. the remaining escaped convict is still at large. The search is north and west of here, about 40 miles, in dense woods near the Canadian border. It is nowhere near our camp, which is 70 miles south of here.

Omigosh, Ella, I hope they catch that guy soon, so scary. Thank heavens, he's nowhere near your camp. Canadian law enforcement is also on the lookout for him. I have a feeling he'll end up as the other guy did...
Glad you're having a much-needed rest day, sounds like Rusty is, too.

Have a great and wonderful day!

Those blues are nice, but I hope Rusty gets back to the lagoon soon. I hope they catch the convict soon and he doesn't come anywhere near you or your camp.

Good to hear that your camp is the other direction. Jeesh. I hope no one gets hurt before they get him. Not bad numbers today, Rusty, but I hear the Lagoon is getting kind of wild without you.

I see they caught the remaining convict today. :) Time for a sigh of relief for all.

Hey Rusty, time for you and Neko to get off the shore and dive right in. The newbies need the Meister.

Yes, thank goodness. It has been a scary 3 weeks. The country up there near the prison is really the boonies. It would be rough going for anyone without proper survival equipment, especially in the cold, wet weather we have had.

Rusty decided to climb a bit today. No reason. Perhaps he doesn't like the cold, rainy weather.

Hi Ella :):coffee:

Four times today I have sat down to post here and I keep getting pulled away... maybe this time! :woot:

I hope that by ow the rains have subsided. We are still warm here for us, but we did get a brief, very brief set of sprinkles. Seems so odd to have you guys so wet, and we are so dry.

I hope you guys all enjoyed your rest day. We all need those, time to regroup.

Have a great evening, and Rusty, think lagoon!

C'mon Rusty, you're almost back in the lagoon!!:cool:

You are more than welcome to send your rain over here where it belongs! We got 20 drops of rain and a few seconds of thunder and lightening...:oops:

Such a relief they caught the other convict, I bet that was very scary for those in your area!
