Yesterday

Marshmellow is her normal rambunctious self today.

Yesterday, we got tied up at a wake and funeral and got home late (2 hours). Marshy was 255, so we elected to shoot late. Today we shot an hour later than usual to start to get back on track, therefore it acts like an increase, at least from everything I've read. Tonight, I plan on shooting a half hour late, and then back on schedule tomorrow AM.
My question is Marshy was 40 at +5, which normally would mean a reduction, but as we shot late last night and late today, today's shot was still at +11. So should I maintain the dose an see where she goes, or should I reduce? Thanks.

I hope everyone has a nice day and safe surfing to all the kitties!

Hi Steve.

Typically, it's best not to shorten a cycle by more than half an hour in one day. Shooting an hour early may or may not have led to that 40. I don't normally give advice, but if it were my kitty, and I HAD to continue to shoot early, I would reduce the dose. However, I also would wait until tomorrow to make any more time adjustments, and then do it by either one 30 minute adjustment, or two 15 minute adjustments per day. If you adjust by more than that, I would be prepared to monitor closely. I know it's a huge hassle, but these guidelines are to keep your kitty safe. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Hopefully, some of the more experienced members will be along to give you their thoughts on dosing.

Even though you shot an hour early, that drop is pretty significant - probably more than you would see from shooting an hour early. In other words, she may have been angling for a reducie even without the early shot. IMO, I would be inclined to take the reduction. Definitely keep close tabs if you do decide to hold the dose. Keep it safe, Marshy!!

I would also go ahead and take the 0.25u reduction tonight. I think she got to the 40's because she's settled into the 2.25u dose and it's doing its job!

Nice to see all that green in her ss today!
