Max was meowing for a good 45 minutes before time to test. I had a feeling he would be green and he is. I shot 10 or 15 minutes late last night but tested on time this morning. Here's hoping he stays that way.

Thanks for the late night visit Tricia. I stopped testing at Max's +5 . I know he likely dropped a little more from the 73 but I was tired. The night before I somehow set a 2:00 a.m. alarm that wasn't supposed to be and it woke me up. I tossed and turned and didn't get much sleep after that.

Vines and prayers to all in need with the usual extras.

Now the fun begins. Fortunately he just ate. Fire alarm testing begins shortly and will likely freak Max out. Paws crossed it doesn't screw up his numbers.

Lovely numbers Max!
Sorry you are so tired Elise.....it makes everything else that much harder. And not being able to get back to sleep when you are tired is frustrating.

Thanks for stopping by. Once the fire alarms stopped going off Max seemed to feel good and stayed out. He ate a little spoon of food at +9 and has a high PMPS. I guess he's not ready for the +9 snack. I expected a good PMPS but no dice. Now he gets a pokey break until +3 unless he acts like he's starving.

Sounds like you and I are about in the same boat as far as these kitties of ours goes....we start to see progress and then WHAM, we get knocked back down into reality.

Come on Maxy Boy....settle down some and hurry back to those pretty green numbers you were so good at holding!!

Exactly, Chris. It's like we get teased. I know Max is diabetic for the rest of his life and need to get used to it but when I see what others are doing and Max looks like he might I get hopeful again. That's why the other day I said my goal is 70-120 with food spikes above. He sesemed to be feeling better yesterday and that is what I have to look at and not these crazy numbers that just don't make sense.
