Seems like she's listened about the blue floor, @Tricia & Cinco! So much for a BTB! At least she didn't dawdle through breakfast this morning. She's feeling good, came up to bed for a little cuddle while waiting for me to wake up, just used the LB and made sure everyone knew it. Checking on her birds is next on the agenda.

Thanks for stopping in yesterday Carla, Elise, Marilyn, April, and Tricia! I was beat when I got home from the cookout. Watched my shows and hit the hay... of course, I fell asleep on the couch first. I seem to do that every other night now. It may be TOO comfortable...

Looks like she told you what to do with this dose. Congrats on the reduction! Now up a little Noodle.

She always does at this dose! Wish I could have caught her before she dipped under 50, though. With a vacation dose starting by Friday AM, I'd really rather not take the reduction now since only a couple days ago the S1.5u didn't seem like enough!

I wonder... what if I kept her at 1.5u for a few more days? Only if she's up for me by +3 here. My thinking is I would almost rather be vigilant for the next few days and try to get her some more time in better numbers before she's on a vacation dose and higher for 8 days (I leave Friday afternoon, get back late the next Saturday night). If those with more experience don't think it's a good idea, and I can see why it might not be advisable, I'm 110% ok reducing. Just a thought that came to me.

ETA: As far as these numbers go, I'm only giving her a couple drops of honey with LC. Since she's not too low, I wanted to experiment with gently bringing her up to encourage a surf since I noticed the honey did well with that the other night in higher greens. I wouldn't have tried it this way if she tested under 45, though, and I know how to get her up quickly if necessary. Open to any and all commentary/criticism with this, too!

Nice cycle. If you decide to hold it you need to be prepared for lots of testing which might not fit into your work schedule. She could bounce as we'll but if she does and you don't reduce she might run on the low side. See what others say.

That's the main thing giving me pause. It feels like a shame to thrust her into (potential) higher numbers sooner than I have to before the trip, but it will be a busy three work days leading up to it as well. I'm a bit torn. I'm really pleased with her numbers today, though! I was worried trying to be so restrained with carbs, but it seems to have paid off nicely for the day. It didn't send her soaring as quickly as usual, but she still came up into safe numbers. Thanks for your thoughts as always!

She did get down to the 50's a couple of times at the s1.5U dose, so it wasn't that bad a dose. It looks like she's on the rise, so I'd definitely shoot through the bounce and give her the old dose tonight if she keeps going up.

Elise is wise.

@Wendy&Neko She didn't rise nearly as much as I expected... still think I should shoot through or should I shave it and take the reduction now?

ETA: I just saw your "keeps going up" caveat and since she's not, I'll reduce.
I'm seriously thrilled by this PMPS. I was bracing myself for something much higher. 12 hours in green and blue?! I can't believe it.
