Noodle wasn't nearly as high as I was expecting this morning and shes already begun to come down a bit. I'll enjoy this no pink run while I can! She barfed after eating about half of her breffis this morning, so I gave her a bit of coconut oil to try to move things along. I did some poo inspection yesterday  and shes definitely passing hair that way. They rarely come up when she vomits despite her best efforts, so I think I just need to be more vigilant with the coconut oil for now. The hairball remedy pills have fiber and other good things, but the oil seems to be helping a lot on top of that. Her appy is off, but that's been her MO after a morning barf lately. I'll probably just take the tray out of the autofeeder and leave it all out for her to graze when I have to head up to the office later. She can't be counted on to eat before it rotates when she's feeling icky.

She's having a nice morning watching her birds and enjoying a warm breeze in the window. We have new neighbor dogs that yap-yap-yap at every.little.sound. She looks to the door and looks to me every time they start again. By the look on her face, she's just as thrilled about it as I am.

Continued vines to all in need, especially to Rose and her DH. :bighug:

Sending appy vines to Noodle. She is probably thinking"cant you do something about all that yapping momma?"...:).Slide down safely today little one...

Sorry about the hairball situation. I hate all the shedding this time of year. I hope Noodle feels better and eats good today.

Awww - I hope Noodle gets rid of all the yucky hairballs soon. :bighug: On the plus side, her spreadsheet's definitely looking better overall now than it was - lots more blue and yellow. You probably don't want her running too close to the reduction zone while you're away anyway - if she could just settle into blue with maybe some high greens for a couple of weeks, that would be good...not too worrying for your Mom but low enough that you wouldn't have to worry about her being high too much either. :bighug:

Definitely don't want her in that reduction zone when I leave. I'm going to see how this week goes before thinking about a vacation dose. She has earned reductions on pretty much every dose lower than what she's on now, and I don't think mom will be willing to test more than PS, so I'm stumped! I don't want her to be high-high for a whole week, but... :nailbiting:

This icky pink PMPS is a surprise. I was going to raise her dose tonight, but I'm a little concerned this could be a high before a drop and didn't want to add more juice to the mix. I'll raise tomorrow morning instead.

If it was me, I think I'd chance her running yellow/pink for the week before I'd want her anywhere near 50 - it's only a week and she'll come back down once you're back home and can test her more. It's tricky when she earns reductions but then needs to go back up - I know there are some people here who have loads of experience with vacation dosing, so hopefully they'll be able to help you figure out a dose that will let you relax and enjoy your time away without worrying that she's either too high or too low. :bighug:

I agree, she might be getting ready to show you some blue...maybe even a little green...after that PMPS (anti-jinx). Come on Noodle, show us all what you can do!

It is a balancing act, I think a week in yellow/pink may have her getting used to those as 'normal' numbers so I'm not sure I'd aim that high but I'm certainly no expert in vacation dosing. I never take them as there's no one I cn trust to look after my babies. It's so good that your mom is willing and able :)

Hope those dogs settle in soon and quit their yapping.

Oh dear. New neighbours and yappy dogs! I hope that doesn't last.
Hope you get the holiday dose sorted. It is always a concern til you get it sorted.

Thanks for stopping in Serryn and Bron!

I'm definitely studying her SS with an eye towards what I'm comfortable with for the week, assuming she won't test aside from PS. Right now I'm thinking 1u, or .75u if she can measure it. We have 5 days or so to think about and get more eyes on it! Need to decide on a "no shoot" number for her, too. So much to consider! I'm trying to get my brother to get some mid cycle tests, but even if he does I might not be available to advise them. Agh!

@Vyktors Mum I was already planning to bring her along on our family vacation this summer, but I got the opportunity to go to Italy for free through work next week and couldn't say no (as nervous as I am)! It will be my first time in Europe!

To help mom get the dose right you can do a sample syringe for her with coloured water or cold tea, then she only has to compare that to what she's drawn up - much easier than her trying to work it out each time she draws

Make sure both she and your brother have your log in details and know how to get here too. If they need help and you're not available we are :)

How exciting on the trip!
