WCR: Some Ps in place. She's "off"...from fuds, water intake and LB action, which of course affects her mood. I did get some snuggles last night in bed and she woke me up about 30 minutes before my alarm went off...I'm not a morning person so I rolled over. I know I shouldn't ignore her lovin' but I'm so tired and want to sleep for days.

Can't decide if this is possibly sinus related or something else like pancreatitis or kidney problems. Someone needs to invent a scanner that we can use to just scan our pets and get instant diagnosis...like a Magic 8 Ball for pet illness. :woot:

OT: I went to Zumba last night and had a blast...not sore today. Hoping to make it back Thursday night and then Friday night is graduation. Senior exams are done and if seniors are ok on their days (they are allowed 9 unexcused absences per semester...way too many if you ask me!), they will not be at school anymore. Happy and sad over this.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Hi Deborah, I think this might be one of the first times I have check your condo. I am just curious, is there a reason you are giving 14% carb food when Shasta is not having low blood sugar? I know there are always different reasons for things like this, I am just curious.

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Ah Shasta, you feel better! I too always wnated that crystal ball, that instant Dx'er. Sure would make life easier if they could just tell us what is up.

Finally the end of the school year. Many mixed emotions I am sure. Enjoy graduation! celebrate some with your students. :) And bring on summer vacation. :cool:

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Hi Tina, the simple answer...she's been very fussy about eating lately. ALL of her lower carbs (5%, 8%, 4%)...she won't touch. She'll eat 3% FF Turkey & Giblets, but that's too low carb and she'll drop like a brick...so, that leaves me with the higher mid-carb foods that I know she'll eat. I hate doing it, but when I walk out the door in the morning, I have to know that she'll be ok until PM shot time when I get home. And to make everything more challenging, I'm the only one that can handle her...meaning, I'm the only one that can put my hands on her and check her BG and give shots. Thank heavens for the automatic feeder! Thanks for checking in on us and thanks for asking. I'm hoping it's just a phase, but right now, I just need to keep food in her belly. :(

I totally understand that reasoning. Sammy is a very picky eater as well and I find that when I grind up and sprinkle freeze dried treats on his food he will eat, where as sometimes I put the food down and he just sits there waiting for me to add the sprinkles. It is actually quite hilarious how he knows how to get what he wants.
