Hi Folks:
I had a little excitement over the weekend and ended up hospitalized over night. My heart is a bit of a problem but nothing really bad. While I was gone Jacks bg was checked but because of communication issues he was not given insulin since Sunday morning. He was on .1u at the time. My question of course is should I just begin his otj trial or start him back on insulin!
I am home and fine and Jack and the other kitties are great as well.
As always thank you for your suggestions!
Linda

(((((Linda))))) Being hospitalized overnight isn't what I would call a "little" excitement!!!!:eek::eek: Tons and tons of healing vines and prayers that whatever condition you face is being managed and behind you! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I am sorry I don't have any advice, other than to say Mr. Flat Jack sure looks ready to go OTJ- I will watch to see what the pros think! fingers crossed and anti-jinxes X 1000! :D:D:D

Gosh Linda - so sorry to hear about the weekend "excitement". :bighug:

Jack looks like he's been holding the fort. How about a test 3 hours after that 114 this morning to see if his pancreas kicked in. Is he getting a +9 feed overnight?

I'm so sorry you ended up in the hospital. Sending prayers for you.

I'm glad the kitties are doing great. Nice start for Jack today. If you didn't shoot this morning, you should change to AMBG so it's easy to see he didn't get insulin.

Gosh Linda - so sorry to hear about the weekend "excitement". :bighug:

Sorry I didn't check back before now but his +4 was 85 and yes he gets food at amps +4, +9, pmps, and +3 he gets twice the food to last the night.

hmm, wow. well i guess i'd see how he's doing tonight and decide from there. If he's still in green I might hold off with the pm shot and see how the pm cycle goes.

big hugs for you, Linda. that sounds scary - i'm glad you're ok now.
