Hello LL!

Good start for Eddie this morning. I do find it interesting that Eddie's numbers are overall better than when he was on that last tiny dose. I suppose that's just a function of injecting exogenous insulin - it's an imperfect way of supplementing the body's own insulin resources, and while we try to control for as many variables as we can, there's no way of knowing exactly how much insulin is going in, how it's being metabolized, etc. That's why I think it's so darn hard to get 7 days in normal numbers for a kitty on insulin....

Anyway, we're off to look at furniture! We have till the end of the month to be out of our apartment, so we're still moving - slowly but surely. I'm hoping to find some reasonably priced furniture to replace the garbage furniture from our apartment that I'm hoping to NOT have to bring with us.

That is exactly what I did when I bought my townhome.....I was able to take the time to paint the walls (after many years of apartment living and beige or white walls, I was DYING to get some color on the walls)....I didn't have to worry about furniture etc....I was also able to steam clean the carpets before moving anything in.

Have fun furniture shopping! My problem is (as I still haven't bought a new piece of furniture for my new place after like 5 1/2 years lol), is not being able to find EXACTLY what I want. Perhaps I am too picky? lol

So exciting to see Eddie doing so well!!!!! Skooter is looking forward to his OTJ pawty!!!!

We were successful with furniture shopping today, and will have somewhere to sit on Tuesday. :cool:

We got home just in time for a beautiful PMBG of 65. :D
 
Great news on the successful furniture shopping - it's always good to have an opportunity to make a fresh start with furnishing a new home. And wonderful numbers for Eddie today! :D

maybe I should have you come with me....I always thought it would be a bonus being single and decorating because I didn't have to check with anyone else before buying....but now I realize how indecisive I really am and that is almost worse than having to agree with someone on something lolol

So much to be excited about! Eddie...I'm running out of fingers. Pretty soon I'll be taking off my socks to extend the count to my toes. Not pretty, but oh so worth it.

Happy day 9! Eddie sure is making this OTJ Trial look easy. Wow, just five more days to go. Awesome - a mid week party to look forward to. Yay!

How wonderful to have the luxury of moving things over at your own pace. We were able to do that when we bought our home, too. It made it all so much easier - especially on the cats.
