A great morning in Pollywood. BTB, but no sleep 'cuz a certain little girl was kneading up a storm and mewping like crazy with occasional jumps off the bed to bursts of elephant stampeding followed by more bedtime kneading and mewping. (I suspect she was just trying desperately for more breffis #1, but I'll take it!)

Roofers are here again, but not 'til near 9:00 a.m. Should finish the shingle stuff today, just the breezeway left. Later they'll put some rubber stuff on the cattery roof. Too flat for shingles and so badly ruined that they had to replace the wood sheeting.

Vet appointments lined up for the cats next week. Polly, bloodwork with complete thyroid panel, urinalysis and general wellness exam. Rowsie, two days later, for a senior wellness exam. Gotta get Will in for his lumps and bumps (old dog stuff but necessary since he has a history of mast cell) plus bloodwork to check his always elevated liver values and a little advice on easing his arthritis issues.

Hoping for a lazy day today. A little house stuff. A little yard stuff. A lotta nap.

Vines and wishes.

Things are looking good with FlatPollyBluePolly! Loved her morning ritual - I think it must have been about more than food.

Good luck for next weeks vetty appointments - I bet Polly's will looks better with her being under renal threshold so much now. At some point, you might want to get a urine protein/creatinine (UPC) ratio done. Acros can have proteinuria like Neko does, but I didn't have a UPC ratio done until her urine protein got a bit higher so I don't have a baseline UPC. We are treating even though she's in the gray zone UPC ratio. Diabetics in general can have some protein in their urine.

Interesting about diabetes causing some protein in urine. Max has had that for a few years. Maybe he was borderline diabetic for awhile before he tested high enough for glucose in his urine. He is in gray area.

Polly sounds like she is comfy in blue. :) Have a nice day.

Nice steady string of blues..no worries for the bean for now. Yep..April was "take a pet a week to the vet" month for me..and looks like you will be getting it done in a weeks time.:) Have a nice evening Marilyn.

Looks like Polly is holding Steady . I hope everything turns out well for you at the vets. Glad your roof is to be done today.
