Dosecrease threat has been placed on the table. Neko's numbers have started the upward drift again. Blasted acro tumor. Today is 6 cycles since her last green. I'm using today to figure out whether I'll do a full .25U increase or just fatten the dose. She's been quieter in the higher numbers. She's now in her new bed with her head buried in the corner, which is her sign for not feeling as good. It's also raining and not solarium weather, but I don't think that's it.

Wendy, I'm sorry she's got creeping numbers. But as I was told so many times not too long ago, she needs what she needs. And there's not much we can do about that. Now, as for the weather....another frustration we can't do much about. Hoping for some solalrium time.

I was all set at +8 to pull the trigger on a .25U increase. Probably should have, but the big drop to PMPS meant she got the dose fattened to an even number. That plus I'm away all day on Saturday with just DH in charge. Haven't been on that much insulin since January 2013. But her numbers are a lot better now than they were then. She's a little perkier tonight in mid blues, in spite of me pressure washing and the hail today.

@ Carla, Rhiannon, Suki, Marilyn, Ruth, Ella - Thanks for visiting. Neko started drifting up a couple of days ago when it was sunny, so it's not arthritis pain inflating numbers, but it could be making her feel blah. Solarium has a leak - again! Same spot as before! I noticed it when I went in there to give Neko her shot at PMPS, that was at the tail end of the rain that went with the hail. The leak is away from their beds and I've got the leak catcher in place again.

Ah, Neko, you managed to avoid a complete dosecrease, but the threat is still on the table.

Sending healing vines for her arthritis. I sooooo understand what she's dealing with.

So I get a before bed test, she's still not onset yet. First test is 51. Perhaps I didn't get enough blood. Next test 54. Blood drop still seemed small. Third test with good sized blood drop. 48!! Gonna be a long night - this is still the old dose talking. Broke out the Cowboy Cookout. Neko is much more animated now. Gotta love those late nadirs on Lev. She was so high at PS that I didn't get anything earlier. It's possible her nadir was +16.

@ Liz, Tricia - I think her being quiet today was because she was pink - the pink funk. Dosecrease threat worked again.

WOW what a day Neko!
Wendy how does the nadir be plus 16? My understanding is Lev only lasted 12 hours. However I have had weird numbers later with Scooter.
