Hi all, on 3/28 we had a logical curve that was too low at the nadir so I decreased the dose from 3 to 2.75. Now the mid-day tests seeking a nadir are really high and Woody has skied over 400 on two recent PMPS's. I am ready to go back to my incorrect way of dosing based on the pre-shot values, since nothing is logical and I cannot predict his nadir based on the curves I am trying. Can anyone who has time take a look at his SS and compare 3/28 to today 4/7??? I do not get it.
He has neuropathy pretty bad and I want to help him but nothing seems logical to me...

I suspect your cycle today was a bounce cycle, which is why it's all 300+ and no curve. In fact, it looks like he might be clearing a bounce. See how if you put his BGs from today on a graph, he's got a downward slant from amps this morning til now? 364-319-287?

It's really confusing when you start out, Ellen. It gets infinitely easier. Just keep posting with us and we'll give you a hand understanding.

If he were mine, I'd hold the 2.75u and I'd also get another test later in tonight's pm cycle. I'm wondering if he's going to continue declining tonight and be lower at amps tomorrow morning. I think he was doing pretty well on the 3.0u, and it was ok to reduce to 2.75u since i think you're following SLGS, but when you reduced to 2.5u he lost the good numbers. Sometimes when that happens you end up going back up in dose until you get control again. I think that's where you are.

For neuropathy, are you giving him Xobaline? You can get it online and it will help it.
