Milo yesterday

I'm ready to get sick. I know for a fact it was a fur shot. I don't know if he got any. This time I felt the wet immediately. In the back of my mind of course shoot more went through, BUT I knew better. I am so mad because he's been seeing greens. I'm hoping he got some in and this super high +4 is partially a bounce.

I do the roll shot method and I don't know why twice this week I've missed. I just need to slow and refocus.

So tonight's shot should continue at 5u?
 
Hey, fur shots happen. I've done my share and then some. Maddening, yes, but we just push the reset button and keep plugging along. Milo will get back on track; his mean will, too!

Well by now I know... Entire fur shot. I'm really disappointed in myself. He was doing so well. But it's done, and can't be changed. Eating zero carb tuna all day in hopes of not seeing Hon the meter.
 
Don't worry too much about it. One skipped shot/fur shot won't make a huge difference. He's got a depot still giving some insulin out and he'll get back on track before too long. Enjoy your "save a strip" day.

You know what - looking at his spreadsheet I'm thinking this is more a bounce than a furshot causing his high numbers. He may very well have gotten lower than 65 last night, and then have been rising to amps/189 this morning. I think it looks like a bounce. So don't kick yourself if he stays high for a while. Even if he missed some/all of his shot this morning, that kind of zoom to 500+ says bounce to me.

I know at least partial fur shot. I felt wet right away and smelled right after shot. I knew he'd bounce after the 65 too.

I know how you feel. You want to rewind time and do it again, but that just isn't possible. The only thing you can do is wait until the next shot time and be extra careful. I sort of have a ZEN routine when I am giving a shot and if anything doesn't feel right I step back and refocus. This doesn't always prevent fur shots, but I think it keeps me focused more to have the less often.

I really hop that Milo gets back to GREEN quickly.
 
How frustrating. :( sending hugs and here's to hoping we are seeing those blues and greens again soon! I think I'm going to try the roll method tonight.

Successful on PMPS, and glad he wasn't in 500s. Had slowly moved shot back ad we have to go out at regular shot time. Anxious to see how he does tonight.

Thanks again everyone... I took time tonight and slowly focused on shot WITH MY GLASSSES ON.
