Panthers #s are still low

She earned a reduction with that number in the 40's so her new dose will be .75. Post for advice when you get the pmps test and someone will advice you if she is still under 200. You say you shoot at 3 but which time zone?

I see you have shot under 100 before so disregard the previous statement about shooting under 200.

we really need you to get a spreadsheet started. It helps us review your test data and give you better feedback.
Instructions are in Tec Support. (Sorry-on my phone right now or I'd get the link)

She has one but isn't linking her posts. She got a 42 at 4.5, 53@6.75, 79@10 122@11.

This is where she's at now AMPS 137,+4 42,+4.5 46,+6.75 53,+10 79,+11 122, PMPS 108, +2 98

She had been getting advice from someone who was using the DCC protocol and then the lady went into the hospital and left her without any help. She wasn't posting on the DCC board, just had this one lady telling her what she should do.

I got the numbers she had and put them into her spreadsheet to get her started. Now she's shooting every 12 hours and working on learning how we do things! You can see that Panther is doing much better now too....and a good candidate for remission!

She has been using the needles that come with the pens but will be trying to get some syringes soon so she can do our .25 dosing

She does not have a computer, only an Android phone, so she's still trying to figure out how to do things on it

So it looks like she shot .5 tonight, right? I agree she looks good for a quick visit here. I hope we are right.

If she doesn't have syringes and is using the pen needles, you can't give a dose less than 1u. I would skip rather than shoot too large of a dose, and then get u-100 syringes asap.

She told me she gave .5 tonight....not sure how, but she said she figured out a way to do it with the pen needles.

Since she lives in New Hampshire, she can only buy 10 syringes without a script, so hopefully she'll be able to get them soon

I wonder how she managed to shoot less than 1u. If she says, would one of you let us know?
It's possible I use to do pca work and the person I worked for had the same pen not to hard to do a tiny twist in between the 1 and 2 I'm looking into getting needles though to be safe

ah - thanks for explaining it. I do think you're going to want to get syringes - some cats are unbelievably sensitive to even tiny changes in their doses so it can be really important to be consistent and accurate in the dosing.

Panther looks pretty good though!

And welcome to Lantus/Lev Land!
