Yesterday's Condo
Wow, that day has really gotten away from me. I have been working on a Book Review for the podcast all morning and I totally forgot to post Sammy's condo for today.
Last night Sammy didn't hang out under 100 as long as I would like, but at least he has been under 120 since yesterday afternoon. I am still freaking out a bit about the rising numbers, but I am really going to try to keep my patience as long as he stays under 120. As it has already been mentioned I am sort of addicted to the lower numbers and when I am not seeing them I freak out a bit.
This morning at +11, one hour before AMPS, Sammy just would not leave me alone. He had gobbled up his +9 snack with in minutes and didn't have anything to snack on before +10, so at +11 he was bugging me to feed him. I tried to get him to lay down with me and snuggle, but that only lasted a few minutes. I still needed more sleep so the only thing I could do was give him a teaspoon of food. I know he really should be without food for at least 2 hours prior to shot time, but if I didn't give him something he would have just kept bugging me and I would not have been able to go back to sleep. So even though his AMPS was a bit over 100 it was a little food induced. Although, I have noticed that Sammy is much more likely to have higher numbers when he doesn't eat than when he has just eaten within the last hour.
Hope everyone has had a great day. DH is home testing again today, so I haven't had to make any runs home. I can't tell you how much of a relief it is that he can and will now test at least some of the time.
