The vial is just about 6mos. old. I just got another vial. I was going to start it on april 1st. Maybe I should do a doscrease first? Also, the new vial I have has an expiration date of 9/2015. It was given to me by a friendHi Paula,
Perhaps Michael could stand a little more juice. How old is your pen? But yellow is certainly better than pink!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend,

I know he doesn't like the 1.25U. He Dives into the lagoon! May have to go back to that. We'll see.Knock, knock Michael. Now pay attention. No more stinky pinks. But more blue. It's pretty clear.
I'm thinking Paula, if he doesn't get back to mid cycle blues pretty soon, it might be time to threaten that little guy with a dosecrease! Sometimes that's all it takes!
Hope you two have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Ella,Hi again, Paula,
You can certainly try out the vial your friend gave you. Does it have a sealed cap? (I'm not familiar with vials.). If she's kept in in the 'fridge and never used it, it should be good. I would try it before your present vial is empty, just in case the insulin isn't good. What is the expiration date of your present vial?
You could try just fattening the dose a little: i.e., don't give the whole .25 unit increase. You really have to discover what is best for Michael. Do you use calipers? What kind of syringe do you use? Calipers are a precise way to measure a dose, but they take a bit of getting used to. Marje has a good post on dosing with calipers.
