So since I'm waiting for a friend I decided to get one more test. First reading, 47 o_O Too late for that. Second test with back-up was 72. Third test with original 61. I'm pretty sure that 47 was wrong. Maybe the pain ointment got in the way.

Max is going a little too far too early. He ate at pmps and a little after but not the last time I put food out. I sprinkled fd chicken on his fancy feast and he's eating but I'm thinking I should have given him some mc. If he doesn't eat what I put out I will. I didn't have any bubbles in his syringe so maybe he got a few drops more.

China, call Max back in please or are you with him? I'll need to check.
 
I did give him a few drops of hc gravy but it wasn't enough at the previous check so he got karo this time and reduction earned. The question is whether I take 1/8 or the full 1/4.

Congrats on the reduction. :D How easy/hard it is to get him up might help you determine what he wants for his new dose. I tend to respect the 30's and reduce a bit more with them.

OK Max, time to get out of the deep end!

ETA: The advice on reductions is for Elise only. The protocols strongly recommend a full .25U reduction for a number in the 30's.
 
Looks like he's hanging out with Noodle - I'm really missing that wide eyed smiley right now! I'd go the full reduction for that one.
 
The only reason that I hesitate is that he has a history of not holding reductions unless I shave. One of the times I ended up shaving a couple of times pretty close together. On the other hand, I was sort of expecting this would happen because of the low 50's ,might have been in the 40's with meter variance. I'll see what he does the rest of the night and where he is at in the morning. Thanks for your thoughts Wendy and Sheryn.
 
Max really enjoyed the hc sliced ff with karo. It brought him right up too. Now we see if he surfs or slides. My bet even though I swore I wouldn't make predictions is that he will surf. He got a lot of karo since I knew he already earned the reduction.
 
Whew, Max! You really wanted that reduction, didn't you? Well, now that you've earned it, you'd better make it stick!! Sorry Cinco wasn't there to cheer you on. He's stuck on the yellow floor for some reason. Maybe you two can hang out tomorrow.

Congrats, Elise. I have no advice to give you on whether to take the 1/8 or 1/4. I know you are most familiar with Max, so I'm sure you'll make the right choice.
 
More hc+karo@+6. Up to a good 78@+7. Let's see where he is at +8 but I do think he is done dropping. I thought that before but this is late for him to drop.
