Hi everyone,

I am feeling a little better today (after a rough night) and Edward hasn't gotten what I have and seems to be over whatever it was that he had. Rusty really took good care of us last night. Now he needs to bring his numbers back to normal after the trip bounces. I may have to raise his dose by a drop tomorrow to jump start him if he shows no real progress today.

It is quite warm, cloudy, and damp here with melting snow and ice. Not pleasant. Mud season is on the way! It would be good in the woods today, however, and we were supposed to go on a snowshoe hike at the VIC. But obviously we can't. Too bad, since there was to be a picnic for all Friends of the VIC (we are Friends).

I am about to venture out to do grocery shopping. It is necessary!
Wishing everyone a fine weekend and sending healing vines to all in need. bbl,

Ella & Rusty

Sending healing vines to the beans! Rusty is being such a good nurse. If he only had opposable thumbs, I am sure he would drive to the store and grocery shop for you all.

Hey Rusty, bean's getting twitchy. Time to settle down to Home, Sweet Home numbers.

Vines for both of you Ella. I'm glad we don't have mud season.

I'm glad everyone is feeling better! :) And Rusty is doing such a good job taking care of his beans but the Lagoon is missing its Meister. Have we missed the tickets for when the chair will fall in?

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

I too am glad everyone is feeling better! :) No relapses, OK?

Oj Rusty.... I hear rumblings of a dosecrease. Best work this juice or there may be more for you. Surf well today, 'K?

Bleach on the mud season... I do hope for a slow melt for those that have too much snow. no flooding allowed. Bummer on the no snowshoe!

Hope your day has been a good one! I had to do the shopping today too.

Mombeans on the mend Rusty so you can relax on the helicoptering and get back to the lagoon ok.

What's this about the chair falling in - please explain...

Have we missed the tickets for when the chair will fall in?

Nope! The chair hasn't even been set out on the ice yet. I'll keep you informed!!!

@Vyktors Mum : A large, wooden chair is set out on the ice in one of the bays of Lake Flower every spring. There is a pool to guess when the chair will fall in to the water. Whoever has the closest guess (day, hour, minute) gets half the money collected in the pool and the other half goes to the village. Last year the tickets were (I think) $5. Liz and Anne "participated" (but did not win).

Hi again, everyone,
I felt pretty good this afternoon but the sundown effect that is common to colds has set in this evening. But I am glad that I felt good for a while. Rusty is calling for us to come down to watch TV, so that's where I'm heading.
Another day of missing most of the board. Tomorrow I'll be more dutiful!

Hope all is well,

Ella & Rusty

Sending tons of healing vines Ella- and virtual chicken soup!! :bighug::bighug::bighug: There's so much crud going around, you can't be sure it's just a common cold, please don't try to do everything all at once, you need to rest!! (Okay, getting off my "MOM" soapbox now...

Ack--- I don't envy you with the mud season- we had that in Spokane where I grew up- come the winter thaw in March, the cars could easily get stuck on the sides of all roads! :nailbiting:
