It is most frustrating when your cat takes over the computer. Sigh. A few notes to add to Mikey's. I spoke with Dr. Mowry, and Mikey's thyroid is back up to normal, so we can rule that out. I have his labs, but haven't looked them over too carefully yet. Dr. M says everything is normal, except that his cholesterol is slightly high. Mikey is supposed to lay off the bacon and eggs. :)

This is quite the dive, even for Mikey. I've gotten pretty comfortable dealing with the lows, but I'm feeling uneasy tonight. I'm not uneasy about dealing with it if he goes low, but I'm feeling unsettled that he keeps going low, even with two reductions. Of course I could be anticipating a low that will never happen, or I could just be stressed from the events of the last few days. If anyone has time, could you take a look at his spreadsheet and tell me if I'm missing anything. I so appreciate it.

Breathe Mary - you can do this. I like Julie's suggestion - you know he's got a good appetite. I'd keep testing for a bit.

BTW - I don't think you are missing anything. Unfortunately these big drops are causing more bounces. Settle down Mikey! We loved those blue and green cycles.

I gave him a little honey at about +4 and will test again shortly. Something just didn't feel right in this cycle. I'm glad we figured out what it was. I'm going to test him again shortly, and I'll give more carbs if necessary.

A couple of odds and ends here. My new lantus pens have shipped from Mark's. I don't think I'll exactly need to start using them yet. :) Also, I got a new shipment of strips today. Good timing.

Yikes indeed, it won't hurt to give some carbs or honey given that there's been no increase and it might have been a double dose. The aim of the game tonight is a little different.
