So much for Purrdy and Meg rabbit getting friendly, poor Purrdy was coming down the corridor to the kitchen for his t/f/s and Meg decided to charge him on the way. She got him cornered in the bathroom and he even hissed at her then (first time he's hissed at her). I got between them before either could do any damage to the other, except for perhaps a bit of a rabbit attack spike reflected in Purrdy's AMPS this morning :rolleyes:

Today makes 10 cycles at this dose. The lovely run of green on PM 2/23 has me thinking that perhaps I should hold this dose for a few more cycles to allow for bounce (or bouncelet) clearing time but of course my trigger finger is always ready to go so if others think I should stay on top of the increases and go again tonight I am up for that.

I always copy and look again at the guidelines when i'm uncertain what to do:

Increasing the dose:
  • Hold the dose for 3 - 5 days (6 - 10 consecutive cycles) if nadirs are less than 200 before increasing the dose by 0.25 unit.
    • if your cat is new to numbers under 200, it is recommended to hold the dose for at least 8-10 cycles before increasing.
    • when your cat starts to see nadirs under 100, hold the dose for at least 10 cycles before increasing.
You've got 10 consecutive cycles at 3.0u. He's had 2 cycles with green nadirs in that time, although neither was for very many hours.

I don't really see bounces after those 2 green evenings. A couple of the cycles are flattish, but a majority of the cycles do start higher at preshot ae by ndhave a lower nadir mid-cycle. Could be a bounce, but i'm not really seeing it. Everything above says to hold as much as 10 cycles in this situation. You've held it 10 and personally, I'd go ahead and increase by 0.25u. It's a large enough dose that it's not really that much of a percentage increase. If these numbers were at a 0.25u dose I wouldn't increase by 0.25u, but at 3.0u it's somewhat like fattening a 0.25u dose.

That's my thinking - but of course, it's up to you!
 
Sounds like a good plan to me thanks Julie. I think Ruth has been giving me too many pairs of patience pants and I was swinging too far the other way - increase is on!

Will give Purrdy some extra loves from his aunties :)
