Ok, if she doesn't come down this cycle at all, should I go ahead and increase again tonight? Is 3 cycles is too long to be considered NDW?

We had a scarf & barf issue this morning, she's not used to her later breakfast time. DBF stepped up and fed her slowly after I had to leave to run, thank goodness. I was still a nervous wreck... and she came down a whopping 40 points. I do wonder if I missed her shot this morning.The plunger didn't feel right, but I didn't smell lantus anywhere on her or on my carpet, so...

Time for patience. It takes a while for the depot to build up. Wait at least 6 consecutive cycles before increasing. I've Lantus being compared to a large freighter. It takes a while to turn the ship. If today was a fur shot, doesn't look like it, the cycle count would start over.

Come on Noodle - beans are very bored with pink!

Ok, thanks for the reassurance. I didn't know how to treat it since it feels like this was all one big failed reduction back to the .1U.

Thankfully, she is acting fine. I'd love to catch her in the LB so I can get a ketones test, but no luck the last couple days. Some nasty weather just rolled in so my dinner plans were canceled, which is sad for my best friends birthday, but at least I can give a shot and monitor tonight--when she's BOUND to come down (you hear me, Noodle?! No more Mr. Nice Mom!). :cat:

+8 - 337

So we're basically flat. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
At least I'm getting some snuggles today.

Does this look like a bad insulin issue to anyone? I'm not fully convinced because of the blue the other night, but after a week of greens and reductions I'm wondering.

Back in the reds. Noodle, don't you know only your Mamabean is allowed to wear red in this house! Paws crossed for a productive cycle tonight.

Stalked her after dinner and got a negative ketone test, which makes me feel a bit better. No huge pees today and normal poo. She actually let me clip her nails without wrapping her in a burrito! She must have been relieved there was no lancet pen in my hand. :)

C'mon Noodle, I don't think mom wants to hear about tomorrow being another day too many more times! Yay for no ketones :)

Almost 5 hours of the same number makes me think I must have flubbed tonight's shot somehow. Didn't smell Lantus anywhere in the area, but it really didn't feel like the plunger went in when I gave the shot--must have lost it somewhere along the line, she's started to wiggle away when she feels the pinch. I'm glad she feels wiley enough to do that, but geez does it make things difficult!

Very hard to see her in her highest cycle yet, but I've got to shake it off and try again tomorrow. I may pick up a new insulin pen Monday if these highs keep up, just to X that off my list of possibilities.
