I'm hoping that +4 is connected to the fact that Trix's feeding schedule is a bit out of whack today. I did a BTB after morning meds and slept a bit longer than I intended
...thus throwing Trix's fuds schedule off - so I had tested her much closer to eating than usual. I'm off today, so we can get that +9 snicky-snack in...we'll see what Ms P has to say about that - hopefully something better than this +4!
It's not the greatest picture, but this is something I have not seen Trix do in a llllooooooonnnnnnnggggg time...like well over a year, if not longer. Last night, when civvie Frankie was enjoying a plate of Fancy Feast, Trix decided she HAD to have some and started to eat off Frankie's plate! Apparently it was a REALLY good plate of Fancy Feast, because Frankie wasn't giving it up, either
!!
Trix's appy has been happy, and seeing her "steal" Frankie's fuds was something wonderful to see.
Another very cute thing Trix did yesterday: In general, she has grown to love fluids time. She gets some extra attention in our bedroom - likes to rub her little cheeks on my make up basket and snuggle with DH while I get the needle set up. She's gotten to where she knows when it's time and heads towards the stairs - but usually waits for DH to pick her up. Last night, though, she was ready ...she was in her bed by the heating vent and giving me the wide eyes as I headed towards the stairs. I said "Do you want to do fluids?" as I started heading up. Next thing I knew, I saw her zipping around the corner and running up the stairs
! Granted she only ran halfway...she does seem a little arthritic and I think running the whole way was a bit too much for her, but such enthusiasm
!
I'm off today, but it is gray, rainy, cold, and dreary...haven't trouble getting myself moving, but I guess I should do it. Have a great day, L&LL!
