Another surprise this morning with that green. Neko was doing her "I'm green feed me" call before the alarm so it wasn't really that surprising. That and her fur feeling soft were clues that something was up and it wasn't her BG. The true surprise this morning is some blue sky! Might be a bonus solarium day.

Neko's feeling good this morning. Lots of purring through acupressure and she just went over to nanner central and stomped all over a newspaper that DH kindly left on the floor for her to play with.

Happy Sunday everyone. Vines to all in need. It's btb time here. DH just started a nasty cold so time to get plenty of rest to try to fight it off.

Neko has really good glucose levels Wendy. I love how relaxed you are about them whereas I become a nervous wreck over high normal blood glucose levels so I aim to react more like you do.

Yep - no need to invest in expensive toys for four-legged kids. Newspapers (and cardboard boxes) are the best toys ever. My "kids" and I had to fight over the paper this morning, in fact. They won.

Oh, newspapers! They're great fun, Neko. Try sliding on them...zoooooom. It's kinda like surfing but you don't have to worry about numbers. Unless you're sliding on a suduko page! Patch was a master of getting clear across the living room after a good run and jump.

Speaking of numbers, yours are fantastic, Neko. Yea!!!!

So much for an all day green surf. No matter how hard she tries, she's only done it once during the daytime. Nights, that's more common. Neko almost went outdoors a couple times today. She was in the open door sniffing, but didn't quite do it. She got solarium time, but the sun was fleeting.

@ Ann, Voula, Jen, Liz, Carla, Serryn, Shelly, Marilyn - Thanks for cheering Neko on today. Not sure my little arthritic girl would be up for sliding on newspapers on our hardwood floor. She does like a good crinkle though. Newspapers and paper bags are the purrfect toys.

I think it's the noise the papers make. Minka likes them, too, as well as paper bags. That crunchy sound seems to be very satisfying to them.
