BTB x 2 this morning. Suspect the +3=284 was food influenced since Miss Grazer had access to breffis leftovers while dabean slept for a bit. She's been snacking off and on most of the morning, and sleeping off and on in between snacking sessions. She's feeling a little punk so I'm glad she's eating.

Came home from work yesterday. All seemed fine. By late afternoon, she was comfy sleeping. But in the bottom cupboard of the bathroom vanity on top of some towels. She likes to go in the bathroom cupboards, but usually just for a quick inspection and then out again. I opened the door. "Hi, Poll. How'ya doin'?" Not much response although she did come out for snackies and a test.

Most of last night and again this morning, she was in the cupboard. Kinda "down." I had opened the door so she wasn't really hiding, just hanging out.

Fussy with breakfast, but after three different foods and a cruise through the other cats' leftovers she'd eaten plenty.

As the day goes on, she's getting back into her groove a bit more. Jumping on the bed during one of our btb times this morning. Out in the living room with all of us napping in the sun spots.

All's well. Just a little unnerving when their behavior patterns change.

I hear you on that. I hope all is well. I swear something is in the air. Max is hiding and not too hungry and same with Trixie. Vines.

Marilyn, don't be nervous. Surely it is just a moment. Polly will be fine! Many vines!
 
How are the 5 P's doing for Miss Polly? I hate it when they don't follow predictable patterns. Paws crossed it was just Polly deciding she wanted to try a new bed for a while.
 
I'm glad Polly seems to be acting more normal today. I hope she just had an off day yesterday. I hope she heads back to blue soon.
 
Everyone is entitled to a "down day" once in a while. Glad that Polly is coming out of it. You never know what causes these "variations" in behavior.

:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:(((Marilyn)))) I know how you feel when that happens- you can't really put your finger on what is wrong with this picture, but it creates worry in your mind... The thing is, Polly is eating- that's the first thing that seems to go wrong, and as you say, she got her groove on as the day went on, that has to be a good thing! But until you see that, it's like :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting: If only they could talk!!

Thanks everyone. Although she's moving a little slower than usual, just a tad, she's hanging out in all the usual places: office hammock, living room chair. Sleeping plenty, but so is everyone else!

Excellent appy and has responded to all the "Polly, snackies." Poke and treat euphemism. She walks down the hall and sits by the bathroom vanity awaiting pick-up.

Tail's a little more horizontal than vertical, but her elevator button still works to bring her tail up to an almost vertical flag. She was downright annoying for the half hour before dinner. Walking on me. Yelling at me. Good.

I'm not liking today's numbers. Does she need .25 increase? Or are the numbers up because she is uncomfortable? I dunno. Will probably go up .25 in the morning. And see what happens.

Not to worry. She does go through these phases from time to time. And she's close to back! Very close.
