Happy Sunday LL!

Eddie had some nice cycles yesterday, but barely missed a whole day in normal numbers due to his PM +1 test of 140. Ah well. Still very good numbers. Last night Eddie was a snuggly lap cat for a few hours, then played tag with the other kitties. To encourage him, I joined the game. Eddie's never been very good at the hide-and-seek game...i.e., where bean hides around the corner and kitty runs by and bean says "boo!," and vice versa. He doesn't wait for the bean to hide...he just runs after the bean. But he loves the game, so we ran up and down the hallway several times till this bean was worn out.

Eddie stayed green through the PM cycle last night and into this AM, and has continued in green all morning. :D:D:D Even that pesky +1 was green this morning! :D Eddie's been in the 40's twice in this dose, and he's been flirting in the 50's a couple times, so he might be angling for the next reducie soon, I suspect.

We did cat food shopping and people food shopping this morning. Guess which one cost more?:rolleyes: Settled in now to watch some football.

Fingers crossed for greens for the rest of the day! :D Have a good day everyone!

Hi Jen:

Eddie's looking great! I agree he's about ready for that reducie - it could come any time now. :D

I love the hide and seek game you played with him. Great exercise for both of you! ;):)

Hi Tricia! Thanks for your visit! It seems like since Eddie's quit the dramatic bouncing/diving, he's much more subtle about signaling a need for a reduction, so he gets lots of pokes when he's in the 50's to see if there's a dip into the 40's.

Looks like I might possibly have jinxed him with wishing for more greens and talking about a reducie....115 at +9.

I suspect the reduciie will happen sooner than later. Patience. It's hard when it gets this exciting.

Elise, you are SO right. It is super hard to be patient. :nailbiting::D

Eddie and I watched cheesy horror movies on Netflix snuggled up in bed late this afternoon. Eddie's fairly high at PMPS at 176. Yuck! Maybe it's a bit of a high before a break...

Great day. Chase the bean, snuggle during movies. Perhaps the high before the break. Oh, oh Eddie. I think we're all keeping an eye on you.

Patience mamabean. Patience!

Marilyn and Polly

The stress of the horror movies could have put him over the edge and got the 176....I know I get stressed watching those ahahahahahahha

I think he and Skooter and looking to create a Minnesota Feline Diabetes Diving team....and thinking they will be co-captains. Nice catch on the +4...reduction may be in his near future after all!

Remember, it wasn't that long ago that Eddie used to "wave the pink flag" as his signal of an exciting cycle to come.:D Enjoy the evening Jen.

Seriously. Now, this is just being a tease, Eddie. +4 = 52, +4.5 = 51, +5 = 53, +6 = 53

Carla ~ Thanks for visiting! It makes my heart feel full when Eddie plays. :joyful:

Marilyn! Thanks for stopping by, and for the PATIENCE reminder. :bighug: Please keep those reminders coming. I need them.

Patience mamabean. Patience!

Molly - It's possible you are right about the horror movies. :nailbiting: Or, it's just Eddie reminding me who is in control here, like Tricia noted earlier today.

Wendy - Thanks for stopping by! Oh my gosh, I definitely remember Eddie waiving the pink flag (and sometimes a red flag or a black flag :banghead:) before diving. There was one two-day stretch that sticks out on his SS like a sore thumb where he hit a black just before PMPS, and the next day, hit the 30s just after PMPS. These flat green cycles are addicting. :D:cool:

Hi Elise! Hmmm. It's been on and off. Recently, I'd say three or four weeks. The last time I had to really load him up with carbs to pull him up, was around Thanksgiving. Now, he comes up out of the 40's with just a smidge of regular LC food, even if it's early in the cycle. I speculate that as a cat's pancreas heals (hopefully? anti-jinx?), it does what it's supposed to in terms of releasing a little glucagon, and then a little insulin, and a little glucagon, etc., to achieve stasis. Crazy that I haven't had to carb up even the early cycle drops, lately, isn't it? I also think that's maybe why Eddie's being so subtle about earning reductions lately...his body is keeping him from going too low without sending him into a bounce.

Eddie is a HUGE tease! I think he'd had such a lovely day with his beloved bean that he just didn't want it to end :D

LOL at Eddie's version of hide and seek minus the hide!
