Charlie's dental cleaning went good, but we have to do a canine extraction next month.
When we got home he was so hungry he would not sit still for a test. I have never seen him eat as fast and as crazy as he did. And now even @+2 he is a crazy eating machine, I feed him in a different area then the other cats, normally when he is done eating he will come check to see if the other cats left anything on their plates, well this time as soon as he was done eating he raced in to the room where the others eat, he pretty much bumbed each cat away from their plate so he could get what was left which was very little if any.

Poor Charlie. Why didn't they remove the tooth today? Wasn't he sedated for the dental? I'm always told to only give half the usual amount of food after a dental.

I probably should have had it done today, when she called to let me know, she did not make it sound like it needed immediate extraction, plus I had planned to have Lola in for a cleaning next month. When I went to pick him up they explained a bit more that the tooth should really be extracted sooner then later, he is going back in on 2/4, since February is dental month 20% off, I am still bringing Lola in for a cleaning.

I see. I asked because of the sedation having to be done twice. With Lola, I would have any work done all at once for that reason. It will also be less expensive I would think.

When Tommy had his dental, he went back 2.5 wks later cause when they removed his upper canine, it cause what is called lip catching/tooth catching, his lower canine was catching and starting to puncture his upper lip, he did good with the sedation that close, and yes when I bring Lola in, if extractions are needed o will have them done then.

Glad to see all went well today. I wonder if the anesthetic made Charlie so hungry. Maybe a side effect?
