I wasn't able to post yesterday, but Simon had a nice slide down right before bedtime (it figures!) into the green lagoon. I was a little nervous about him going low like he has been doing, so I added a tiny bit of HC food to his overnight food in the automatic feeder. I guess that helped give him the almost pink today. Simon woke me up at 3:30 with crying and pawing at my face. I thought he was telling me he was too low, but when I tested him, he was in high 200's. The little stinker just wanted attention and his belly rubbed. I was able to go back to sleep so all is well.

Off to the cat shelter today to volunteer. Maybe I'll post a couple of pictures of my shelter kitties I take care of every Saturday.

Skooter is a bit carb sensitive himself....normally if he is like that before bed, I will feed a few tsp of LC and retest in like 30 mins and he is normally good, if not a little MC and to bed I go!

Simon, lets start a slow and steady slide down to the blue floor, shall we? Its way more fun to be there than on yellow...
 
Furkids.JPG Here is a picture of some of the kitties in the room that I clean on Saturdays at Furkids, the biggest no-kill cat shelter in Georgia. I had just finished brushing them and giving them a few treats. I love how many of them are looking at the camera!
 
Look at all those beautiful kitties. I want to take every one of them home! Good thing I don't live in Georgia!

Simon seems to be hanging with Skooter and Cinco on the blue floor today. Although Simon is getting a little closer to the lagoon than the other two. Not a bad place to relax on a Caturday!
 
Love the pic! And laughing about Simon faking the lows last night -insert row of laughing smileys here - glad you got back to sleep ok. Looks like he wins the flat cat award for today's cycle - what a tease 101 - really Simon!
