Good Morning LL:coffee::coffee:
Michael is in the "pink":arghh: (amps 312) could this be another bounce?:(
He left about 1/4 to 1/2 of his food. I doctored it up and he ate a little more leaving about 1/8.
Should I have given his shot (1.5u Lantus)? I left quite a bit of food out for him last night.
When I woke up @3:30am all the food was gone. I tested him @5:15am then gave him food.
Maybe he was full from eating during the night and maybe that is why he didn't eat all his breakfast. And then again he might be back to grazing like he use to do before he became a sugar baby.
Is there a guidline of how much they should before you give a shot?
Thanks,
Paula

I would say yes, he probably went lower the the 147@+2 last night.
If I need to adjust his dose, does that mean I have to wait 3 days from today?(Sat) and if he bounces again within the 3 days, do add on another 3 days? If he keeps bouncing, in a situation like this, then you would never be able to adjust the dose.
Please read the rst of my condo. I think we were crossposting.
Thanks,
Paula

Its not set for in stone 3 days, michael is clearing his bounce in 1 or 2 cycles, the 3 day is how long a bounce can last.
I would guess he dipped in to the green last night, at which you would hold the dose for 5 days.
See what others think, if it was Charlie, I would assume that he was in green numbers last night and hold the dose for 5 days.

I only feed Charlie an ounce of food at shot time, then an ounce at +2 and +4

I'd stay with the 1.5u for now, Paula. The 30s where only 2 days ago, and I'd guess Darin is right about Michael going into greens last night.

I'd think as long as he eats some with his shot, at least a couple of tablespoons (1 coffee scoop =2 T) you can give the shot.

good to know.
wishing you all the best in 2015

Still bouncing (amps 312 +5.5 318.) So different from yesterday. Guess I better put on my patience pants.

enjoy the save-a-strip afternoon and you can probably wait to check him again til pmps. He is clearing bounces fairly quickly though.

I think he's looking really good, Paula. :D

Happy New Year to you too!

Michael probably finished off his night time food when he felt himself go low last night. That's a good sign! I like to have Tess eat at least a little , but remember there is a delayed onset for Lantus so it gives you a little breathing room to get food onboard.

Thanks for the reply, Ann.
Every little bit helps!
Happy 2015!

He really is looking good, Paula. Bounces notwithstanding. You might need to press those infantry greens for your guy.

Wishing a grand 2015 for you and Michael.

Happy 2015 to you & Polly
When the time comes, I will be glad to see him in his infantry greens, but he will just have to wear them wrinkled or press them himself.:joyful:
