We're in a bit of a schedule adjustment with me out of town, but Cobb down quickly and nicely from the 18 hour shot last night. He's doing great! Eating has stablized...no begging for food, and he's staying in numbers that I feel are safe to leave him with less testing. We may have to figure out a new schedule when Matt's schedule changes on Monday. I may move him to a 7a/7p shot schedule. That will allow Matt to get a test later in the day cycle, and possibly a +10 in the overnight cycle as well. From what I've caught lately, I do think he's going low later than +6, but Lev has a later onset so that's normal, I suppose. To use the word "normal" in one of Cobb's condos seems weird. LOL.

It has been crazy busy the past few days. Three kids in our house right after Christmas...chaos, I tell you! But we had a great time!

Hope you are all doing well. I cannot believe 2015 is two days away!!

Cobb's doing great on his new lower dose! What a difference from when he started 2014!!

I like trying to catch a +9 or +10 test with Neko on Levemir. Of course ECID, but it sounds like a good idea to get that if you can.

How is Cobb's weight doing? It's fantastic that his eating has stabilized.
 
Cobb's weight is stable...right around 17 pounds. He's a big cat, what can I say? He eats 1.5 (5.5oz) ,cans...about 8 ounces of food a day. That is DRASTICALLY lower than the 3 cans (13-15 oz) he was eating when we first switched him over. The timed feeder has made a HUGE difference. He eats 4 times overnight and twice during the day (because he's lazy and sleeps all day).

My only complaint is that the wet food stinks. I mean, reeks. I hate the way it smells. I wish I could find a less offensive smelling food!
 
i was just thinking today as i fed the kitties that i guess i've finally gotten used to the stinky cat food smell. hahahaha that only took 4 years. ;-)

Oh cobb . . . you look as purdy as ever. :)
 
Stable weight is good. Neko gets about 1/4 lb of raw a day. Either I've gotten used to it, or it's not as stinky.

Make sure it isn't located near a vent, or the refrigerator fan. Those will blow the smell around.
