Good Morning!

Apparently, I should've set the alarm last night and gotten up to test. It looks to me like Mikey went into blue and is bouncing today. Hopefully, he'll clear this quickly. It looks like he's already starting to.

I woke up this morning with a raging fever again. Don pointed out that I should take some advil, which I did. Apparently it worked, because I slept right past +2. Oh well! It's not like Mikey's exactly running low!

Sorry you're feeling sick - my DH is too and today's his birthday. What a bummer.

I'm going to apologize up front because I know I've asked you this before, but I'm wondering about a dental for Mikey. Can you remind me of the state of his teeth & gums, and then put it in his ss so i don't keep asking you? I'm still thinking about it because it can really improve the blood sugar in some kitties if there is anything at all going on dental inflammation/infection-wise.

Hope you can sleep tonight and feel better in the morning.

I just wanted to stop by and say that I hope Mikeys numbers come down tonight and you wake up feeling better. Hope that you get some good rest tonight. :)

That IS a bummer, Julie. I hope he'll be feeling better soon. This virus is a nasty one. It seems to keep on hanging on too.

At Mikey's last yearly check up, the vet didn't feel that he needed a dental. My vet is pretty fast to recommend a dental, and he had DK have one, so I'm guessing Mikey's teeth and gums were ok at that point. I should have him give Mikey's mouth a look-see next time we're in, just in case. It certainly can't hurt.

The thing I'm wondering tonight is if Mikey's lack of exercise is bad for his BG. I know that affects human BG, and Mikey is a very low activity kind of guy. Maybe I should try to exercise him more, not that he'll be very cooperative about that. I also wish his liver would smarten up and realize that normal numbers are, well, normal. He needs liver lessons!
 
Julie, I'm going to bed soon. Are there any particular tests that it would helpful for me to get up and get. No guarantees that I'll actually get up with all these meds in me, but I can try. Who knows if I'll even sleep much, since I can't breathe well. I'm addicted to air. Probably need rehab. :)

I'm sorry you have been so sick. I hope Judi's anti viral tea helped!!

I'd try to get some sleep tonight (I'm sure you are already in bed) and maybe get a +10 if you can.

Maybe if it's quiet there, Mikey will take a hint and come down very slowly!
