Going through the Old Board, I found that Ginger's Christmas Dress is even older than 1 year. But it still fits.

We went for lots and lots of walks today.

Ginger likes her Kong Glide n Seek cat toy, and she got a Yeowww! Cat Nip Stinkie and a bunch of cat treats and some Fancy Feast Appetizers. I got myself the picture of J.D. to hang on my wall.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

Thank you. It hasn't been easy.
But, Ginger is getting more attention and becoming a little more friendly, so we are making progress.

She got the feather thing out of the Kong toy pretty quickly. I praised her and gave her some treats. I put it down again later, and this time when she got the feather thingy out it stuck to her collar, so I guess it's like a magnet and stuck to her tag? I put it up again, to keep it "fresh" as she get the feather all wet.

Right now, she is sleeping as it is dark outside. I hope she will get up again for a little while tonight.
Wait, I just heard a jingle. She is so so smart.
One time I was typing away on the board about how I was going to take her to the pet store with me, and she went and hid under the bed, where she never goes. She understands my thoughts somehow.

Thank you :)

She just came out of the bedroom. Maybe, we'll go take one more walk in the dark, except it looks like she just woke up lol.

Quite the elegant Christmas dress, Ginger. You look smashing. Love the canvas print of J.D. I have one of my heart-dog, BudDog. Now, almost two years after his crossing, it brings me lots of comfort. My favorite Ginger snap (groan)? The one where she's mirroring J.D.'s position, with her head turned a bit.

She understands my thoughts somehow.

I think she does, Dyana. Yes, I think she does.

Ginger and I just got back from a long walk. We went around a block that we haven't been around in about a year. It's all about confidence with Ginger. She's so timid, and there are cats (very few cats) outside and around that corner, that she is kind of afraid of. I told her, that I would be right beside her, and we made it around the block. When we got close to home, I told her I was proud of her, and she puts her tail straight up in the air when she hears that :)
She got some HC FF and some FF Appetizer for her dinner when we got home, and was standing up on her hind legs as I was bringing the dish to her. She is happy.

This one?

I think she looks old in this one.
She is real smart, I've always said. Kind of scary smart. I think it's called wise.

(((((Dyana and Ginger))))) Merry Christmas- your pictures are gorgeous- Ginger is so sweet in that dress! I peeked into your photogucket album- wonderful pics!

Merry Christmas Dyana and Ginger! What a beauty she is with gorgeous markings. Sweet little Christmas dress that she wears so well too! And what a nice urn for J.D. that is...

Thank you.
She's been wearing her red bow all day, but the dress only lasted long enough for photos.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

I love the pictures of Ginger...in her dress, on her walks and missing her J.D. Wishing you very special Christmas wishes, Dyana & Ginger.

I love Ginger's pretty Christmas dress...she's such a beautiful girl, and it sounds like the two of you had a lovely day of bonding today. Merry Christmas, Dyana!

Merry Christmas Dyana and Ginger!

Merry Christmas, Dyana. I was feeling sad earlier today and have been thinking of you and the others missing their babies today that we lost this year. Many hugs! I'm so glad that Ginger is warming up. She looks beautiful in her "old" dress:):). Have a great Christmas evening!

I missed this yesterday. I'm hope you and Ginger had a good Christmas. She looks beautiful in her Christmas dress. I love the picture of J.D. I hope it helps brings you some peace. It looks like Ginger knows that is J.D. when she is looking at it. If we had the hug smilie , I'd insert it here. Sending hugs to you .

I didn't have time to post yesterday, but I love those pictures of Ginger, especially the ones with JD in the background. Timeless photos. I'm glad to hear that Ginger is getting a little friendlier.

Thanks. And, Hugs.

Ginger and I went out for a few walks today, but she slept most of the afternoon away, and didn't want to get out of bed after about 2:00pm. She just got up for her dinner of HC. I hope HC is okay for a non diabetic. Because that's all she eats lately.

I finally spoke to my Dad (he called me) and the tears just flowed.

DBF gave me a matted frame for a picture of J.D., and a silver heart locket necklace with a little diamond in the center on the front and when you open it up there is space for two teeny pictures of J.D. He is very thoughtful.
I just don't know how to print pictures on a paper that would be more heavy weight than normal paper on a normal printer.

Dyana,
All of these pictures are priceless. I love the picture of Ginger looking at J.D. Ginger is so precious in her Christmas Dress and that is a beautiful picture of J.D. So glad Ginger is warming up.
You are right about Ginger understanding your thoughts and what you say. She is very smart.
Michael understands every word I say. If he hears me say vet, he goes and hides. Sometimes I have to spell the words.
Merry Christmas and may the year 2015 be extra special!

You need to get special photo paper and print at high resolution for the best result. You'll need to experiment a little on regular paper, photo paper is $$.

Dyana, It would be difficult to select only two photos to put into your new locket! ;)

Do you have Photoshop currently- or something like Picassa? - these programs are for re-sizing the photos. For prints, I like to use resin coated photo paper, it gives the sharpest detail and most vivid color. Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum is generally what I buy, however, you have to purchase an entire 20 sheets of 8.5 x 11- unless you plan to print out a lot of other photos, it can get expensive. If it is just one photo, maybe take it to Walgren's or some other specialty print shop- make sure they use high quality paper or the photo will quickly discolor or fade.
