1/7 Michelangelo AMPS 297, +6/265

Previous Condo.

I increased him to 1.5u last night and he seems to be doing pretty well so far. I'm a little worried because I'm working in the office today so I won't be home to monitor how he's doing. My brother is also out of town, so I can't ask him to check on Mikey, either. I might run home on my lunch just to see how he's doing. I'm such a nervous Mama!

Not a bad start, sometimes when we leave we leave extra or higher carb food. Mikey is good about eating, right?

My rushing home to check on him proved pointless. Either his nadir is much earlier/later than normal or this dose still hasn't kicked in for him yet. I'm working from home again tomorrow, so I'm hoping by then I'll see some results of this last dose increase.

I try to keep him under 5% carbs because he's really carb sensitive, but since I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get away from work long enough to run home today, I did feed him "high" carb (for him) food today, so that might be a contributing factor. And yes, Mikey is "good" about eating. The little bugger is a scarfer to the point where he literally inhales his food, sending him into coughing fits sometimes while he's eating. :lol: No matter how high or low his numbers have been, he's never lost his appetite.

They cant be trusted.. as soon as you dare think you know what their BG is going to do, it does something different. We are not in control... sigh.
