Yesterday http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=76067 was a yellow start to pink then slide down to at least low blue overnight.

I guess I should have gotten up yet again last night after the +6, because Neko is bouncing from something. Her nadir is really moving around a lot so it's hard to guess when I should be getting up at night. She might just be bouncing from the low blue. Oh well, it was good to see her get that low and today is another cycle.

Neko is doing her usual this morning. She was CPC, done a yard patrol and is currently snoozing in her basket in the solarium. We have sun, intermittently, so the kitties are enjoying the warmth.

Maybe Neko is watching too much of the Olympic gymnastics - those floor routines are pretty bouncy. flip_cat Come on back down Neko, and without diving please.

NEKO! stop that. Just cos there is an empty space on the trampoline at the moment doesn't mean you get to hog it! come on down!

Hi Wendy -

I sure wish they could tell us when to wake up & test them... or just be responsible for setting the alarms! :lol: (that would be the one NEXT TO the bed, and the other ACROSS THE ROOM!).

I usually think they're the ones sending the telepathic or subliminal messages to (dogs) Dom & Jack around 3 am. By then, I'm thinking we've already passed nadir. Or maybe it's just the garbage trucks in the neighborhood waking up the dogs! Either way, Grayson gets tested, and usually some food, so he's pretty agreeable! ;-)

Hoping Neko comes back down through her cycle - or maybe she got into something hi-carb?

every time i'm confronted with a pink amps i curse my lazy bones for not getting up at 4am, testing and giving him some R to flatten him out. but somehow getting up at 4am, well, no logic works on me then. even if i tell myself before i go to bed "but you'll regret it later" or anything. so he bounces. fortunately they eventually clear it.

nice 109 though! go neko!

Hi Wendy - bummer on the bounce. and here I thought that Mannie was the only kitty to go up so many points in such a short time - it was becoming his trademark. :? I hope that Neko comes down soon for you. I am sure Neko will.

Sheesh, wasn't the 399 enough of a bounce Neko? She seems totally fine with it. I actually managed to get her combed today, including the pants which are generally a no go zone, and we got a pre trip mani-pedi done.

@Anne - we were watching the synchronized diving last night, our bad! Neko promptly followed suite.

@Pip - she's got a pretty good hang time today. Hoping she'll work her way down tonight, but not too fast!

@Lu - I did give Neko a couple tsp of HC at +6 last night so she didn't get into more trouble later, and usually that doesn't last long. No other high carb available, she was sleeping in the solarium for most of the night. Just another cat mystery!

@Julie - the 109 was nice and it must have been one of her "I'll nadir late tonight" times. And if I'd just stayed up another hour, I might have been able to claim green. Oh well, bounce during the day meant more time for me! I'm a bit annoyed that she's switched from going low during the day to low during the night. :lol:

@Michelle - Maybe Neko is just following the master! She is getting better at clearing bounces, we just have to wait. Great weather here, hope you had the same.
