Yesterday's Condo

Morning everyone! Shadow was hovering right before the alarm went off. He didn't actually wake me like he did yesterday. Maybe that we because I kept telling him all day hat he owed me a half hour's sleep! I don't know how he will pay me back for yesterday's early wake up. So, he let me sleep until the alarm sounded and then he was right in my face. :lol: He normally doesn't do that...waits somewhere near my room but doesn't jump on the bed to wake me up. This is a new thing he has decided to do lately.

Very enthusiastic this morning .purring and happy to eat breffis and is now sitting and staring out the screen door. I am still half asleep and hoping to go btb if I can...just for a little bit. Will see what is shaking around here this morning first...I think Ginger is coming over here today and everyone is welcome too. Grouper will be served...maybe some frolicking on the beach too??

nice wcr this morning, Pat. Shadow is looking good with that mid blue amps. I know good things are in store today.
My guys didn't wake me up this morning, however, Spot still insists on a personal escort to his timed feeder about 5 minutes before it's due to open. I do get lots of kitty kisses on the cheek for this, tho. Unfortunately it's usually around 3:30 a.m. :lol:

shadow sounds like such a good little boy ... purring and kisses .. what more could a momma bean ask for? Love the blue on you shadow, you look great in it! Let's see if you can wear it today, maybe mixed with a little green?

Morning to you - I hope that Shadow decides he wants to surf today instead of going diving. It almost sounds like he is taking am polite lessons from Putty!

Hairball at +3...it wasn't a real ball though, just white foam with hair mixed in. Interesting...I had been out of my Evo 95% chicken/turkey and was feeding the Wellness. Just got a case of Evo again and the two of them had hairballs a day or two after eating the Evo again. That is good stuff...it has herring oil in it and that helps get the hairballs up. Well, that's MHO anyway.
I just had my shower and that means I am so totally together today...sad that I have been in my nightgown the whole morning. :sad:

OT: sad but funny story about my DH. Yesterday, he needed gas in his car so he went to fill it up and then went to Winn Dixie on the way home. (Winn Dixie's parking lot is right across the street and we usually just walk over there to pick up anything we need. We call it our "pantry" because it is so close.) He picked up some stuff and came home.

He had a meeting this morning and left...only to come inside shortly thereafter...with a strange white pallor on his face. :shock: "MY CAR'S BEEN STOLEN" says he. :o We were getting ready to call the police and I ran to the window...sure enough...no car!!!
Something in the back of my bean brain was whispering..."When did you use the car last Honey?" "Last night...I went for gas and then I...er...I went..um...to Winn Dixie...ummmmm" :shock: :roll:
Sure enough, his car was sitting in the middle of the parking lot all by itself...where it had been since yesterday evening... :lol:
When he walked out of the store and across the parking lot to come home, probably passing right by his waiting car! Thankfully, the City Commissioner (DH) did NOT call the police to report the theft until we figured it out...and thankfully, the tow company did not come to take it away last night... :shock: How embarrassing THAT would have been!

Oh the poor guy - what a moment. I admit,if it makes him feel any better, I have left my office on more than one occasion and gone to the wrong parking lot searched for my car and then realized I'm in the wrong place.

OMG :lol: Great story. I did something dumb one (yes just ONCE!) My car is pretty common (little silver Mercades-Benz) so I was shopiing and came out and went to MY car. I pushed the button on the keychain to open the trunk, nothing. So I put the key in and it wouldn't turn???? :o Went to the drivers door and pushed the button, nope.....I thought the batteries in my keychain thingy must be dead so i tried the key in the door, still nothing. I was getting pretty worried and kept trying while getting my telephone ready to call ADAC. A man come running towards me yelling "Hey" and ask WTH I'm doing trying to break into HIS car! Totally flustered I told him I though it was mine, he was skeptical :roll: so I took him 3 spaces down behind a large van where my little silver bullet was hiding and we both laughed ohmygod_smile

That's great Pat....that your DH will eat the same thing as Shadow and Raja....that way you don't have to make different meals. My DH does not like Merrick's either but I have not offered him the Evo duck.....I usually just give him some FF Savory Salmon over a salad and he loves it. :lol:

DH has trouble licking it all out of the bowl, but he does like the freeze dried chicken on top too...just like the kitties. It makes mealtime so much easier this way. Everyone gets the same meal!!! :lol:
Miriam...what is it with our boys and the Merrick? It's popular with most... oh well.

I haven't had the duck in awhile..it's pricier than the chicken..but they are worth it. Try some for your DH Miriam...it's good with Ritz crackers too for a snack... :lol:

:lol: too funny on that story .. we did that once as too .. well not quite as bad but it was late decemeber, late at night and we were headed to new york bright and early the next day but we had to go to a store for a few last minute things .. this of course is the kind of store that has two entrances and we parked and went in and then got distracted in the store and went out the wrong doors .. we were walking ALL OVER for our car cause we SWORE it was parked under the light by the cart holder .. but there was no car there! So we were walking and walking and walking in freezing temps near the middle of the night without a car to be spotted ... the phone was in our hand and the police were ready to be dialed until we realized ... we were at the wrong end of the parking lot ... and sure enough .. at the other end of the parking lot was our car .. parked under the light, by the cart holder ...

I heard that you and Miriam were serving canapes over here, but er, ummm, actually, I had a late lunch and I'm a bit allergic to seafood, so, they look just delicious, but, umm, I'll have to pass because, YES, RIGHT, I forgot, I'm on a diet! Yes! That's it.

Losing your car in the parking lot is easy. But losing your locker in the locker room in the building where you have worked 30 years. That is serious oldheimers disease. Retirement, come to Mama.

Bear is headed over. He doesn't have much of an appetite, but maybe the bonfire will help. Are you making s'mores?

I once came out of a store and was surprised to see a little white dog in the front seat of my car. It was a cute dog, but it was not my dog (I don't have a dog). Boy was that confusing, how did someone get the dog into my car while it was locked? Luckily I then noticed that my car was actually right next to that one and did not have a dog in it. Whew! I have a fairly uncommon car so that was a surprise.

Nice numbers for Shadow. And Evo duck is fairly expensive, you must really love DH.
