YAY - another awesome day yesterday for Mannie - what a fabulous past 5 days. A little bounce this morning - a 336 - but I hope it is short lived and he will be back in the blues by the PM cycle. It has been worth the time spent gathering the data , giving up planned activities , the consumption of all that caffeine ~O) , the sleep deprivation @-) , the omg's ohmygod_smile , just to watch him log in all those great numbers :thumbup . We hope today will be another great day.

Mannie is doing well this morning. LB done (I think), breffis #1 and #2 consumed, civvie control maintained (several whaps and take that given - he does rule the roost), purrs aplenty. This morning when I was getting ready he was laying on the floor on his back, looking for belly rubs - and we gladly obliged. Last night he visited me on the sofa, curled up on my lap for a few quick ZZZZZzzzz's, something that he has not done in a long while - loved it! The interior has just been thoroughly patrolled, and exterior investigated this morning from his window perch, robo cop has returned. All is very well in Mannie-land.

More painting here today - finish off that bathroom project and be done with it! ugh... I will head on out in a bit - a walk to the local coffee shop for the"good stuff", before I tackle the paint brush. I hope to take an afternoon walk to the shore, soak up some sun, watch the waters of Puget Sound. Shaping up to be a great day in mannie's bean-land.

like if it's inside, with NO MOON???

What is with the rain in Florida? It's supposed to be sunny there, 24/7/365 (I had to ask my bean what that meant - she says its easier than saying all year round... ???)
We need canopies! clear top canopies!

Hi Pat - bathroom 50% done - too much trim work - hate that! so far so good, though the accent color is not quite what I expected :shock: - hope I don't end up hating it and having to paint that wall again.... :?

It's good to see Mannie's numbers flattening out. I think many beans think that manipulating the curve will show immediate results. If Gabby is a prototype, it takes some time. We've been at this since April and have slowly been seeing changes -- just like Mannie is starting to see changes.

YES - and so true! It was hard for me to initially grasp the value of front loading, and manipulating the curve. Not any more - I am ever so pleased with the results. I struggled too with the increased dosages, but that too has proven to be valid - you have to go up to come down. Finally at last the changes are beginning to show. I can't remember the last time I wrote about trampolines, or bungees or cliff diving. The curve is so much flatter, the spikes are less, the bounces short lived. Best darn thing I ever did - and I cannot thank you enough for keeping on top of me. You are right though - not immediate results, but they will come. It is nice for me to know that I can control through food manipulation what he will do for that night, based on the starting ps number. What an awesome thing... :-D :-D

Thanks Iorwen - almost done... It's not my fav thing. I just wish in this case that I was sure of the color - don't want to have to go back and repaint. maybe in a week I'll love it... :? :lol:

Hey Roni. YAY! Yes, I did - 6 hours un-interrupted sleep. YES!!! Can't remember the last time that happened.... have fun with the shopping - scary on DH. I can't turn mine loose. He too thinks that the paycheck has more numbers in front of the zeros that it actually does...

MOONIE!! YOU ROCK! The canopies will save the day - rain will not affect us. :-D :-D :-D I am so ready to sing and dance, after my kitchen duties that is - it will be such fun. REally nice numbers for Mannie, this week. I think he's finally got it. I hope the paint dries the color you want, you do just need to live w/ things a little sometimes.

Hi Barb ! Hi Ann!

AN awesome day - sun, painting is done (short of touch up, and I'll live with the color: sometimes things grow on you - like Aegean blue :lol: ), walks to be had, and Mannie is Mannie and having a good day. Numbers are so great this week - I hope that he and his internal organs are finally getting it. :-D

And Barb - I am spoiled - 1.5 miles to the sound - so nice! :-D :-D :-D :-D

147 @ pmps, the blue surf continues. I think I will get a +1, just because if he follows his pattern we will get a drop tonight, and I'd like to be ahead of it... so - we shall see.

Mannie is looking awesome, Michelle! Such wonderful numbers last night, not to bad of a am cycle...pm cycle looks very promising too! I'm so glad for you and Mannie!

Home improvements...I love doing them, but towards the end, I can't wait until they are finished. I did that dining room reno last October and the only thing I have left to do is the thresholds. For some reason, I just can't make myself install them, lol. One day...........

Hi Ele, Hi Deb! I think this kitty may have figured it out - hopefully! We are on the 4th cycle of the new dose, and so far looking good. I sure hope it holds...

Hear you on the reno Deb. I just run out of patience when in the middle of these projects, esp when I have someone doing the work I can't and they take foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. This was just the painting portion of a tile shower redo that after 30 years started to fall apart, literally. At last - finished! Now to decide if "Aegean Blue" was a wise choice for an accent wall. :lol: :lol: :shock: now go and do those thresholds... :lol:

I think that in order to love your new bathroom color, you have to buy all new towels, rugs, and accessories. Whatever money is left in your bank account, spend it, that will work. :lol:

Hi Michelle, thanks for your good thoughts for tomorrow. Enjoy your newly decorated bathroom. You won't believe it, but we're still using towels my mother bought in the 1950s!! (they're a little thin; DH has one that you can see through and he loves to tease our friends by holding it up to the light--it's his swimming towel--everyone keeps threatening to buy him a new one!!)

Hope you get some sleep tonight!

What % carb are you feeding? It would be very nice to get Mannie into the 50s or 60s. You could add a drop of Karo if you don't have 18% carb.

guess 40 must be the magic number tonight ... the karo at +4.5 did bring him up to 57. YAY - I like that better... :-D so - fed another tsp HC with gravy and a drop of karo. will check again at +5.5.

Thanks Ann and Jill and Miriam for checking in. glad for the 57, also the 85. I will check him again in 30 to make sure he stays there, and go from there. I sure hope Pat gets some shut-eye soon. omg, i feel for her.
